Repairing roof shingles in Frederick, MD

With all this wind I've had some shingles get blown of my roof. I'm guessing about a 5' x 5' area.

Anybody know of some handyman in Frederick that they would recommend? It doesn't look like something I couldn't do, but to be honest, just thinking about getting up on the roof gives me thoughts of falling off.

Also, any idea how much something like this would cost to have somebody repair it for me?

Someone has to come and get a sample of your shingles so they can match it as close as possible when buying new to fix the problem..other than that, good luck :pfft: A roofing company may not have to *shrug*

I live in Frederick and my neighbor gave me a guy last time the shingles fell off for me . pm me and I will give you his number.

I have a close freind who has been roofing for years, born and raised Frederick boy, also a Redskins fan. Sounds like he could fix it in a couple of hours, max.

Thanks guys. I talked to my Mom and go figure, her brother is a roofer with his own company. Pretty sad I didn't know that's what my uncle did. I guess I never did talk about his work with him, always BS's about other stuff.

Good point. Likewise there a lot of trees that need attention. Including at least five in our yard.

And as you can tell by all the ****ing about snow shoveling here, a lot of people may be prepared to pay to have that taken that off their hands. My 16-year old son just deposited $700 to his savings account thanks to the winter we've had so far.
