The one with Carlos Rogers put his arm in front of the WR was a lucky break for us and then it balanced out with the no-foul call on the facemask on Santa Moss. Enter Apotheosis Posted September 28, 2009 Share Posted September 28, 2009 Apparently the officials forgot there are two types of facemask call. Just because it's not one, it could be the other. Correct me if I'm wrong here but didn't they change the rules last season so that only the 15 yard penalty is enforced and refs now ignore pretty much anything that doesn't involve pulling or twisting a player's head by the mask? Not that it matters, the ref who threw the flag got it right before they picked it up... Anyway, nice write-up despite the travesty you had the misfortune of witnessing in person.
