He won't make the hall of fame either and it's no ones fault but his. Thus, the so called homerun record will mean nothing. You can hate the guy but unlike others he stood up and then manned up. Something Rafael, McQuire, Sosa and others didn't. He did use roid but he will definitely without a doubt be a HOF.
