Do they have something like a City Paper that advertises where the parties are ? I looked on a couple of sites and I am familiar with Vegas, I just don't know exactly where to start trying to look. I'll let you know what my relatives say about the parties when they get back to me. Well if you stay at the Mirage, Jet Nightclub will be in your hotel and I'm sure you can have an amazing time there. Or you can walk across the street and hit up Tao at the Venetian which has recently hosted parties for LeBron James and other celebs (Jason Statham was there after UFC 100) If its just you and your girl, you shouldn't have too much of a problem getting into the clubs especially is she's looking fine. If you have the extra loot to spend and want to go all out, get a table reservation and a bottle of something nice to sip on. You'll skip the wait at the door, won't pay cover, won't wait in line to buy $15 dollar drinks, and have a place to sit and chill with your lady. Special K Posted August 11, 2009 Share Posted August 11, 2009 OMG, that sounds like complete insanity. You MUST take at least a few pictures to share with us! I pride myself on being the go-to girl for whenever we plan our annual ladies Vegas trips (just got back from one last weekend for my bachelorette party), or plan any side trip to Vegas whether it's for wrestling tourneys or just a random debauchery visit :devil: I highly recommend the Mirage, we've stayed there a few times and they have always been MORE than accomodating of our demands that were totally ridiculous for the group of our size, like 15-20 people, lol. After our weekend of bachelorette mayhem, Mirage Security amazingly called me with stuff a few of us girls forgot in the suites when we left (probably still a little drunk), like expensive jewelry, and are returning it all to us. I have never had a hotel give me service like that before and I recommend them to anyone and everyone. As for what to do, you are going to quickly need to get on the lists for places to eat. If you are in the Mirage, I recommend STACK (it's an American Steakhouse) and it's super yummy, great ambience, and maybe a little overpriced, but whatever. Places to go. If you are staying at the mirage, I would almost suggest going to Jet. It'll be packed, but it was a fun club when we were there last weekend. I would imagine it would be totally out of control during Halloween. Which means with any of these clubs you want to go to, you REALLY need to be on the list beforehand and in addition, the club you are on the list for you will need to arrive at the club well before midnight, as all those "lists" become null and void after midnight. Some other places my girlfriends and I really like going to is "Tryst" at the Wynn. It had an awesome pool and waterfall. We go there every year now because it's our top spot we love to hit up. I've been to Tao, Pure, and LAX, and they're just so unbelievably crowded and stiffling, we never had a ton of fun there. But at Jet we had fun, Tryst is always fun, and "Moon" at the Palms Fantasy Tower is a great club too! If you have any other questions, feel free to ask. Otherwise you will be stuck in the mobs of people and if you stand along the wall for too long, bouncers will come around and tell you to keep moving and there will be no place for you to sit and relax. Yeah, I definitely agree with Skinz4Life...if you're going to be there on a Halloween, everything's going to be packed, you probably really want to try to reserve a table - although they'll have minimum alochol fees. Stuff we've reserved over the years can been from a few hundred up to $1000 for the table and drinks. It works out if you have multiple people and multiple genders going. You can all split the cost of the table/alcohol fee (still pretty spendy...but that's vegas) and have a guaranteed spot to sit the whole night and not be stifflingly crowded. That type of stuff is great for when you have mixed gender parties. Usually all-grisl have fine time getting in, but when there's boys in the group, you definitely need to be on a list and/or reserve a table. Oh, and book now. If you are trying to decide between reserving a table at a "decent" or "average" club that doesn't require a bottle minimum (some places require two bottles) or going general admission to a top-notch club (since they require two bottles) I would say make the table reservation at the average club as opposed to going general admission to the better club. (I say this assuming its only you and your lady and you don't want to have to pay for 2 bottles. If this doesn't bother you, then go all out.) I say this for several reasons. 1) its vegas and all the clubs out there are going to blow away anything your home town has to offer even if its considered "average" for vegas. 2) its halloween. that should speak for itself and every place is going to be packed full of beautiful people. 3) getting the VIP treatment and reserving a table with bottle service is worth every dollar. I was staying next door at the Venetian. I heard XS is an awesome club. You should definatley go next time you are out there. I'm planning on it. I've been there the past several years helping the company I work for with their booth. The Sapphire Club has held football parties with $1 lap dances and cheap Heineken. (It's also entirely possible that I am either combining memories or hallucinated all this). The costumes on the broads are fun. I would suggest doing mushrooms at around 6 PM. But nothing crazy. I just know its the biggest strip club in vegas and supposed to be real nice. Most people recommend the Spearmint Rhino though, and I do as well. Thats a time you will never forget. It just depends. Are there ways to get put on the club lists from online sources ? I know some clubs in DC used to do that a few years back. I just don't know anyone in Vegas. yea you can use a vip host to get on the list. this service came highly recommended to me: www.vegasvip.com or you can just call the hotel where the club is located, talk to the concierge and ask to speak with a host for the club and tell him/her what you want to do. they will tell you all the specifics (bottle prices, if there are minimums, what part of the club she can get you a table in, etc..) i personally didn't use vegas vip even though it was recommended to me. i went ahead and spoke directly to a host for Tao to make reservations. hope this helps. and i know your girl says it isn't worth the money, but if you have the extra money she'll definately appreciate it anyways.
