You usually take out everything personal and put in bland/non specific style furniture. Do you never watch HGTV!!!! (man, I knew I should have never moved in with the GF.......)True. zoony Posted April 28, 2009 Share Posted April 28, 2009 Actually I do think some of it is pretty neat. But it's real easy to overdo the French Provincial look. French Provincial is cool in France. In a new home located in a Denver subdivision, it's hard not to come off as gaudy JMO. If I had all that money, I wouldn't spend it all trying to force a square peg in a round hole. I like the "solarium" or glassed-in porch, as we poor folk call it around here. Way too much indulgence for me. It looks more like a museum or hotel lobby then a home.
