It didn't affect me one bit, it didn't matter to me one bit, and it's not something I have ever reflected on. That being said, it is one of those moments when I remember exactly where I was, and exactly what I was doing when I heard the news. Because it was a big deal to plenty of people..... SkinsBry Posted April 5, 2009 Share Posted April 5, 2009 The first time I heard Teen Spirit, I was in AIT in Oklahoma. I was blown away, I couldn't hear enough of it. When he died, I was out in the field, but word got around to us. I had to wait to get back to garrison to get more details. I had become a bigger fan of Pearl Jam by the time he died, but it was still bad news. And I never had the chance to see Nirvana in concert.
