BigMike619
______________________________________________________ He was the Elvis of my time. The guy came in, changed the way I heard music and then was gone. He would be 42 this year. I have always wondered how his music would have changed and what he would have sung about now if he was even still singing. If you didnt like Nirvana, cool. But please dont be rude or post disrespectful pics/posts in here. Thanks.
RammsteinSkins
I of course, was late on the scene but he truly is the father of grunge. R.I.P. Kurt.

Slacky McSlackAss
One of the most influential musicians of our time, and it is so sad to see him go so early. Nevermind will always rank up there as one of the best rock albums ever produced. R.I.P. Kurt.

#98QBKiller
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2oAF3UdSJ1kI remember that day well. I heard about the suicide from Kurt Loader. Same here. Seems like a completely different world from a musical standpoint. Kurt Loader and MTV news, the G-Funk era, the Grunge era, music videos being relevant, artists not being controlled by record companies. The 90s may have been the last great decade for musicians. JeffSchmeff
Worst.....guitar player.........ever. It is a shame though that he thought his life was so bad the only solution was death. Mental illness is a crazy thing. It sucks he killed himself, but I have a feeling a lot of the talent in Nirvana came from Dave Grohl. I'm a Foo Fighters fan. zoony
My favorite Nirvana song ^^^ If the scream at the 2:32 mark doesn't affect you in any way, you're probably not alive. Pain, rage, hurt, emotions all wrapped into one. This appearance was just a few months before he killed himself. I think it might have even been their last performance, not sure. Anyways, few bands in the history of rock were able to capture that kind of energy on stage. RIP. Can't believe its been 15 years. Yikes, where has the time gone. I remember it like it was yesterday, freshman year of college taking a break between classes and my suitemate comes in to my room to tell me Cobain killed himself. I didn't really care at the time b/c I hated Nirvana back in the day. Never appreciated them until much later.

zoony
Worst.....guitar player.........ever. It is a shame though that he thought his life was so bad the only solution was death. That's a common statement made by knuckle-dragging mouth breathers who can't appreciate great art. If its not linear, if its not technical, if "anyone could do it", it just couldn't be good. (edit- not you of course .) Let me guess... you think this sucks too, 'cause he didn't stay in the lines. lol
