Andre3stacks
I know Mayo won it by a landslide (Mostly because of that 28 tackle game or whatever it was). But Im just curious where Horton finished in the voting. When we barely chose to draft we draft pretty damn well especially when it comes to Defensive Backs. Horton is a good example of this. Stew
He got my vote... not that it was worth much, and not literally... i don't think fans were able to vote for this, but i thought that when you look compare him to Mayo, Mayo was drafted high, and had high expectations. Noone even knew Horton before the season, and came out to have one hell of a rookie campaign, and comperable to Mayo, despite the miles between their draft position. Bang for the buck goes to Horton, fan mail goes to Mayo.
Hunter_R
Honestly, he didn't deserve it. He tapered off fairly quickly.
Riggo-toni
Honestly, he didn't deserve it. He tapered off fairly quickly. I'd have to agree. He started out on fire and continued to play well, but while he's a solid starter he's not the takeaway machine he showed flashes of becoming. Don't get me wrong -I love the guy and hope he stays here forever - he was the one bright spot in what may otherwise turn out to be a horribly disappointing draft. [[ghost]]
He was definitely the 2nd best Defensive Rookie, but Meyo was far more effective. I guess if you want to account their respective rounds, Horton panned out better than almost any rookie from last season. But seeing as how that doesn't apply, Meyo had a fantastic year. skinsfan190
Horton recieved 0 votes. Mayo got all but 1 vote which went to Keith Rivers.
Bzapf
Yeah he shouldn't have got any votes. After week 6 his coverage was worse than a guy named Doughty. Although I still think he is the answer at SS.
Recent Vintage
If he had gotten 2 or 3 more picks then he would have been in the running. But after the first couple games he went from playmaker to solid rookie.
