CRobi21
I'd say Stephen Jackson. He can be a big bruiser, which would be a necessity in the NFC East. But he's also got the speed to break the big one. Yea, Stephen Jackson.
skinfan2k
Are you serious with Mewelde Moore? LT, Jackson, Portis, then Chris Johnson
AAARedskin
I love Stephen Jackson.......then again I love Clinton Portis too. I fear that wear and tear is taking it's toll on Portis, and I think the Skins definitely need to add a new running back to the roster next season. I'm not saying that Portis should be replaced, but the Skins need a back that can fill in when needed that is explosive.
Dondrae474
Chris Johnson because of his youth (although I am a huge Portis fan).
bknp7
I don't like the Steelers but what i've seen of them This guy is the real deal.Work on his pass blocking and I would trade Portis for Moore in a heartbeat.
duenni
what about sproles ? :-)
Streater101
Steven Jackson. Runs like he's 260, great hands, decent speed. Thank god Dallas didn't draft him, *whew*
21DIEHARDSKINSFAN21
i'd say lt, portis, chris johnson, sproles, steven jackson
eljeasel
Depends on a lot of factors. I think CP and SJack might be the best of these guys. But are we talking about a healthy LT? He hasnt been healthy in like 2 years - if you could garuntee me hed have a clean bill of health, it would be hard not to take him. Also, is the guy going to be the feature back? Part of a 2 headed or 3 headed attack? I wouldnt want Johnson alone, but if I had a big nasty already, CJ and ward would be a good compliment. BoRnAndRaiSedSkinsFan
I'd go with Chris Johnson as he's young and cheap. We could get more out of him in the long run. Then we'd just need a bruiser as a change of pace back...someone like Le'ron McClain.
.Guy.
LT any day. Portis is a bad locker room guy so honestly, any of them over Portis.
bushwack
Give me the big bruising Jackson first then Portis after him. Also to the OP there's no way Moore has anywhere near the same speed that CJ has, Johnson is one of the fastest, if not the fastest, RB in the league. CRobi21
Who's D. Moore? Haha. I think he mixed up D Ward, and Mewelde Moore.
#21Taylor4Ever
Who's D. Moore? I was gonna say who's Stephen Jackson.
tiger187126
for what we do? S. Jack (although he's not a good locker room guy either) Portis (have you seen his numbers in this system?) Johnson (no matter what you say about his size or that he's not an every down back, i follow him because of fantasy and he does the heavy lifting for white more often than not) i don't want Tomlinson, at this point he's in a serious decline and people are talking about him like he's already retired. Ward, he's a crapshoot, possible product of an amazing line and two other 1000 yard capable backs. Moore? psh, you might have well put the 7 running backs that Denver started this year. gkekoa
Chris Johnson because of his youth and price. Stephen Jackson is injured to frequently for his contract and his age.
SkinsWizCubsDukes
I'll take LT, Jackson, and Portis over the others. Chris Johnson is a change of pace back, he doesn't wear down a defense like I would prefer. Moore is good, but I still think he is not as good as the top 3 Ward is good, but he usually gets to run on a worn down defense
BAMBAM30
Its gotta be chris johnson...speedy, young, talented... don't get me wrong i love CP but with the way he takes a beating year in and year out he wont last much longer in the league
redskin faithful
Portis. Out of that whole list no one plays with more heart than CP.

dan757
CP CP CP !!!! ALL DAY!! This guy is the only reason we had 8 wins this year he is a beast none of those other guys block like he does or are in the top 3 rushers in the NFL, leading the NFL at the half way point. He is the most complete football player on the skins! He only broke down some because defenses only key on him with no other threats! There is not another Back in the NFL that I would rather have!!
