Djackson10
has he turned out to be a non factor or what? i really felt that when they traded for him he would really help them, but he hasn't really done much. they gave up a lot of draft picks for him when they could have had him at the end of the season for free. he was a total waste today, made no difference at all. Whiskeypeet
Eh, midseason assimilation. Not sure what can be, or should be, expected this year. Although your point about free agency is pretty valid.
dreamshatterer
Not sure what Dallas was thinking. He has 1 good catch then is gone from the rest of the game.
HeHateMe
Way too early to judge. It was a long term trade, not one for this season. He's got plenty of time to prove his worth.

But that's the whole thing that made it such a ridiculous trade. In the longterm, you could have gotten him for nothing. If this season wasn't important, he would have been yours to take at the end of the season. But Jerry spent three picks to bring him in for the stretch run. As long as that's the case (always) his performance during this season matters very much.

Lions were not going to let Williams go for free. They more than likely would have franchised him.

Ken
I expected him to be more involved in the offense at this point. I have not given up on him, but I expected more.
NoCalMike
Roy Williams isn't bad, but there is no way in hell he was worth the Draft Picks that were given away. I think Jerry Jones was of the mindset that he had Terrell Owens complaining about not getting the ball enough, but the reality is that he is being double covered and just not getting open as much as he used to, so Jones figures you bring in a quality #2, and it creates instant mismatches for Owens, even if Williams doesn't produce a lot of stats himself. The problem is, teams have been able to cover Williams 1-on-1 for the most part just like they were covering Crayton or anyone else plugged in there. tr1
TO must whine every time he gets a catch...and we KNOW who Romo sits to pee has to make happy. Keep forcing in to TO, Romordinary. Awesome!

Ding, he made no bones about wanting to play for Dallas, going home to Texas Jerrah the only GM who makes Matt Millen look smart
DWinzit
As long as Jerry and Romo sits to pee cater to TO's cries RW will not get many opportunities. He'll prove to be a pretty good player who came at a high cost in the long run.
