Yes. That was the entire thrust of the post.

Incredible.

you said it man, either stick by what you said or shut the hell up.

Did they use the top pick on McFadden? Gotta have that top RB right???

Nope....Ricky Williams will do. Gotta have the linemen.

you are saying that ricky williams would fit in better on this team then portis would and all we need are the linemen.

youre a hater man..straight up youre a hater.

Yes. I suggested a straight up trade.

Portis for the pot smoking Ricky Williams. Get it done immediately.

Nice reading comprehension there.

yeah, like its hard to believe that your ass would say something that stupid. you are constantly leg humping betts so its not far fetched that you would do something that stupid.

people like you usually end up being exposed and then labeled a complete tool....kind of like you are on here.

Anything but a hater. I want a winner, and am sick of mediocrity, and those who defend it, and can't recognize that another path might produce better results.

Maybe we could actually learn something from the most improved team in the league....Miami?

Crazy idea....I know.

The Dolphins have sucked beyond belief. Anything but a winner.

Terrible. Complete Crap. Worst team in the country.

So how did they go from a 1-15 team, to a team tied with us overnight?

why dont you go join that board during football season and report back to us in the offseason?

Great answer. Expected too.

Easier to just keep doing what we are doing, instead of actually thinking, and then trying to duplicate success. Actually recognizing what is working.....and then looking to see if we can learn anything from it.

Have a good one.

you ever wonder why people resort to that tactic with you? you even bother looking at the tags and thinking that maybe you should throttle back on your negative posts?

No? Yeah, not shocking to me either.

Portis makes $15 million a year, including bonuses.

Concentrated money that could be spread to better the team.

And the records of the teams that follow the same path legitimizes it.

Ah nope. He makes 15 this year. 9+ of that is bonus. Keep in mind, this is the same year where we still had 9+ mil of cap space that "could be spread to better the team." If you are looking at his contract, he is (if Im remembering correctly) 13th highest paid running back. Probly alittle lower with McFadden in the league now.

And the Dolphins aren't winning on gadget plays.....they use the wildcat in spurts....then abandon it for a month or more.

Except when they scored 5 TDs off it in one game. That cat works and we should think about using it here.

They are winning because they spent 6 of 9 draft choices on linemen.

Right here we go. Cause they drafted Lineman, they are winning.

Long - Stud

Murphy - G - inactive in all 12

Langford - DE - 23 yards, 2 sacks

Dotson - DE - inactive in 10 games, 6 tackles, 1 sack

Garner - T - inactive all 12 games

Merling - DE - 22 tackles, 1 sack

Thomas - G - IR since Sept 9

Clearly its because of the inactive rookies that they are so much better. It has nothing to do with Pennington, Porter, Brown, Williams, Ginn (finnaly off the milk carton), and others. Half of these players arent even guys brought in by Parcells.

Did they use the top pick on McFadden? Gotta have that top RB right???

Nope....Ricky Williams will do. Gotta have the linemen..

Why would they draft McFadden who is already a knucklehead when they had Williams AND Brown. If we had either of them, we would see less of a drop off when Portis took a breather.

Our team sits in the same place as last season.

They go from the worst team in the league.....to competing for a division title in one single season.

Has to be the RB right?

Right. Its the RB. Cause they RBs arent productive. Esp in the wildcat. Wasnt the new coach either. He gets Zero credit. Cam Cameron clearly did a better job. How many games did they lose by one score? They had 6 losses by 3 points. Yeah, it took alot to get an extra FG's worth of production

No? Damn. They must have a great QB then, right?

No again???

Who even played QB for them last year. Concussion Green (5 TD/ 7 INT)? Who was the rookie last year? Beck (1 TD, 3 INT)? Then Cleo Lemons (6 and 6)? Yeah, they didnt see an upgrade there. Not like Pennington (11 and 6) is having his best season since 2004.

Gadget plays! That's it!
Hmm, its not a gadget play anymore. How many of Brown's 10 TD runs and Williams's 4 TDs are out of the Wildcat. God knows if there are passing TDs from it.
When was the last time we won a division title again? Who was President? Were you out of grade school yet?

This age-ist crap again? Come off it. You are 40, doesnt mean you know crap about anything.

You got a link for that CP figure? Nope, didn't think so.

Now let's disect this Dolphins man crush you're on now, though I'm sure like always with you it will be like talking to a wall.

Their starting OL is: RT Vernon Carey who was there before Parcells and sucked for a while, RG Ndukwe who was undrafted and originally picked up by the Skins, not drafted by the Dolphins, C Samson Satele a late 2nd round pick while the Skins took Rinehart with an early 3rd this past draft, LG Justin Smiley a cast off from the 49ers, and Jake Long at LT, whom the Dolphins had to go 1-15 to be able to get.

So of the starting OL of the Dolphins, 3 were actually drafted by them, one of them was so bad he would have been run out of town before now by us fans, 2 were drafted before the Parcells regime you love so much and credit for the OL among other things. In fact, Parcells regime landed Long for the OL and that's about it. Wow, they took the top rated LT, why can't the Skins do that? Oh wait, that's why we have Chris Samuels!

Nowhere did I say a RB was more important than an OL. Actually, if you had been reading all of what I said, no one position is singularly the most important in the NFL, all need to be addressed and each position is important. You have to go with strengths available to mask weaknesses if you don't have a good chance of getting things which will solve weaknesses. Going 1-15 gives you a bevy of good draft picks, or, chances to solve weaknesses.

Next "point": The Dolphins use the wildcat sparingly and abandon it for months at a time. Umm, except football has been going on for only 3 months, so they can't abandon it for months at a time. They have been scoring a lot out of the wildcat and other gimmicks, simply saying no and not providing any evidence to the contrary doesn't make it true. I know that's something you have difficulty understanding.

Next: The Dolphins spent 6 of 9 picks on linemen. Wow! So that must mean that is why they are good right? Let's ignore that Long is the only lineman they drafted this year who's contributed significantly. Let's also ignore that the Skins were targeting DE Phillip Merling and that the Dolphins picked him just before we could. Unless of course you think us trading down was a bad idea.

Next: Ricky Williams will do? No, but Ronnie Brown AND RW will do. Why would they go with McFadden when they have a decent RB tandem?

Next: Our team sits in the same place as last season. The Dolphins finished 1-15, they had nowhere to go but up. We finished 9-7 and made the playoffs, but under a new coach and new offensive system you realistically expected the team to do the same or better? BS! I know you predicted us somewhere in the ballpark of 5-11, meaning even you didn't expect a playoff team to do better with a new coach, etc. so you can just stop with that crap.

Next: The Dolphins are competing for a division title, us a wild card. Yeah, like Brady being injured has nothing to do with that. The Giants are the best team in football, so we can't keep up. The same would be trueof the Dolphins if Brady was in there for the Pats and you know it.

Dolphins have the same record as us, in a now easier division, but let's take a look at who they've beaten: New England in week 3, San Diego, Buffalo, Denver, Seattle, Oakland, and St. Louis. New England came back and stomped them with Cassell throwing for 400+ yards despite having to go up against that incredible DL you refer to. And wow! the Dolphins have beaten 1 good team, 1.

They've lost to: Jets, AZ who stomped them 31-10, Houston, Baltimore, and New England.

We won a division title in '99, Clinton was President. What does that have to do with today? When's the last time the Dolphins won their division? At least you can tell from my posts I graduated grade school.

On Sunday, we all lacked the emotional intensity to truly honor Sean Taylor. We looked flat out there and most of the players looked preoccupied with something else other than the game.

When it comes to emotional games, including Gibbs 2.0, we are 0-3. We lost to the Giants twice. The first time when they lost their owner, and the second time when we're supposed to be honoring a fallen solider. The other loss came off of the Bills.

For some odd ball reason, we don't play well on emotional games. We're capapble of a great run but an emotional game is a trap game for us. :helmet:

I feel like Lloyd Christmas in Dumb and Dumber.

so youre telling me theres a chance?

What was that one-in-a-million stuff? lol.

Funny thing is, he was in this thread right after me and ej posted those long rebuttals, and up until you called him on only being able to come back with weak sauce, then he left.

Careful, or Coach Z will be banded with the rest of us "Fair Weather" fans that aren't "proper" Redskin fans because we have the nerve to debate glaring problems with this team. Criticising JC is tantamount to a firing isn't it?

Hail.
