Thiebear
Just because i don't believe doesn't mean i should influence my children to not believe. They go to sunday school and believe in God. Veggie Tales and the Alice bible stories. I'd probably have a revolt if i cancelled xmas. That stuff is for the militant types... Not sure when Jesus or the 12 wore red and white arctic clothing and had reindeer though.

Jim Gaffigan on Easter: Easter, that's a weird tradition. "Easter! The day Jesus rose from the dead, what should we do?" "How 'bout eggs?!" "Well, what does that have to do with Jesus?" "Alright, we'll hide 'em!" "I don't follow your logic!" "Don't worry, there's a bunny!"
talk show host
I think its hypocritical for atheist to celebrate it, but that is just me. Actually, considering its origins, its hypocritical for someone who claims to be christian to celebrate it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christmas http://encarta.msn.com/encyclopedia_761556859/Christmas.html
