Come on man, how about some perspective and patience. If he gets 2 sacks next game you'll be voting him into the pro bowl. A good year for a DE is 10 sacks or more, which is a little more than a half sack per game.

Yeah, let's not overreact or anything after one game. The guy played obviously hurt, and Cerrato did not give up a high enough pick to be "taken" even if Taylor does suck.

The problem with the defense is going to continue to be the fact that the player it was designed around is in a grave, and it might take 3 years before this team fully recovers that. The other issue is Springs being out. He allows the Skins so many options that they just don't have with Rogers and Smoot.

JT is a pass rusher and he's injured. Do you think this was the first time an offense ran at him? A team would be stupid not to run a 260 lb RB at JT. We replaced a very good run stopping DE with a pro bowl pass rush DE and played him everydown. The math isn't that hard.
