Skins4ever1
This site is a pretty good site. I enjoy this Magazine a lot. Every week they are breaking down the positional rankings for the NFC..Last week they did CBs... http://www.sportingnews.com/yourturn/viewtopic.php?t=408428 This week they did Safety. http://www.sportingnews.com/yourturn/viewtopic.php?t=412093

bushwack
Their list of the top 5 safeties in the league is absolutely ridiculous Hamlin, Harris (never heard of him), and of all people Roy Williams above Landry?!? You've got to be joking.
Skins4ever1
Their list of the top 5 safeties in the league is absolutely ridiculous Hamlin, Harris (never heard of him), and of all people Roy Williams above Landry?!? You've got to be joking. Those were the top 5 in the NFC but I agree about that fraud WIlliams. This will be the last year his name and good safety will ever be spoken in the same sentence. jnhay
Roy Williams in the top 5 makes this whole series of articles suspect. I don't even want to read the site's analysis.
Playsmart30
Top 5 1. Darren Sharper, Vikings 2. Ken Hamlin, Cowboys 3. Adrian Wilson, Cardinals 4. Chris Harris, Panthers 5. Roy Williams, Cowboys Ken kamlin second best safety in the nfc? Kinda hard to believe that one. Cowboys rank second best safety? Question how many time Roy Williams got beat on deep ball? Oldskool
 at the Cowboys having the best safeties in the NFc, and #2 in all the NFL. Absolutely ridiculous.
4daskins
Roy Williams in the top 5 makes this whole series of articles suspect. I don't even want to read the site's analysis. Couldn't agree more. The credibility of the article should be questioned. Even William's own team thinks he is done as a top notch safety.
BillyKilmer
Hamlin may be the best the way he has to cover for Roy "Toast" Williams
DiscoBob
makes me sick - we would have easily been ranked #1 with Taylor & Landry.....oh what could have been!
skinsince72
LL and Doughty will be at the top of that list come the end of the year. LL did fine last year and will get even more comfortable this year. Doughty should get quicker in recognizing the run and reacting to it. That list looks like the writer had his Dallas goggles on. Nothing new. Those goggles are on sale all over the country. They are "buy one, get one free" at pro bowl selection time also.

scuppajones
Roy Williams in the top 5 makes this whole series of articles suspect. I don't even want to read the site's analysis. Roy Williams has to be the most over rated player in the entire NFL. Reed Doughty is better.
budski
Ranking of any team or individual only counts during the season.
ncr2h
It's kind of weird that our CB ranking was lower than our S ranking. Although Landry is a stud, Daughty is still a bit of a question mark. On the other hand, I consider Springs, Smoot, and Rogers to all be quality material.

zCommander
LL was a rookie last year in that position so I am not surprised that he was not ranked higher. After this season this should all change and LL will be the #1 safety in the NFL and not just in the NFC. Period.

SteveFromYellowstone
How can you rank the Vikings secondary in the top 5 when they had the WORST passing defense in the league? Makes no sense.
