You guys whining about not getting checks are probably making absurd salaries, so forgive me if I'm not overflowing with sympathy.

If you're bringing in six figures a year, you don't need handouts from ANYONE.

I don't mind cutting taxes on the lower class, but I also think this is a joke, even IF I was getting $600 back. You can go back and see my ideas on this, and they aren't positive. If you want to cut taxes go ahead and cut them, don't give away free money when you are operating on a deficit as large as we are, because I will be paying for this 10X over the lifetime until it is paid back.

I agree with your sentiment regarding the unwise nature of handing out "free" money in this manner, but the way you expressed your gripe focused on your failure to receive any.

Anyone know the exact dollar amount for the cutoff? Is there a specific salary number? Just curious if I'll be getting a check or not.

EDIT: Nevermind, figured it out. Probably not even worth sending a check to me for that amount. :doh:

Looks like I'll be enjoying my $1200 rebate check earlier then May 2nd. They decided to start depositing the checks 5 days earlier. Now what can i buy?
