AKM311
Nice. Put some pressure on Frost, because he thinks he is some all star that deserves a long term contract. Earn it first Frost. You have done decent here, but nothing to be confident about.
CRobi21
http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaaf/players/115795 He seemed to avg about 40 yards per punt each game. And a couple of boomers in there too. Two straight games with a long of 62 yards. Hmmm.

dfbovey
I doubt we actually draft a punter. But I fully expect them to look at a lot of college punters in order to pick one or two up as undrafted free agents after the draft.

tryfuhl
I don't have a problem with Frost, not exactly sure what D is wantin, but I've liked him so far. If we can get a guy that can both boom it and stick it within the 10 or 20, that's great too.
LiveStrongSkins
Wow that is crazy. I played against him my junior year in high school. Edison vs. Madison in the regional playoffs. In overtime all they needed was a extra point to win so I went in and tried to block it. Needless to say I missed after coming close and got an Ayers cleat to my manhood... He also was the free safety and I played receiver... good athlete. It's a good move to give the local kid a shot. you never know..

DarrellsMyHero28
I hope this pressures Frost into either signing and getting it done on the field or getting the heck out of town. I'm tired of inconsistent punters and kickers.

I'm tired of inconsistent punters and kickers. Frost has actually been pretty solid. He's had his share of good rolls to increase his average... but then again, the offense has a knack for punting while in the opponents territory (not allowing Frost to boot the ball as hard as he can). The only thing I'd harp on Frost is that he doesn't do coffin kicks. But oh well. Maybe that's Danny Smith's call.
Sawyer5500
Seems like he would be a good use of one of our 7th rounders.

Justsomeguy
I say draft the best punter availible it is a position that needs to be high quality especially with a new offense. Bad punt=points for the enemy.
Trevor
Ayers is a good punter and a decent athlete as well. He played baseball for BC. He's the guy who Dice-K faced first last year in Spring Training and gave up a hit to.

I don't think it's necessary but it can easily seperate an average punter from a great punter. But it's a difference of comfort level. I'm perfectly fine with him... Suisham makes me a little nervous when he kicks. Frost, I'm not nervous at all about.
