Mickalino
it's now been confirmed that Fassel was not offered the job... I read the opposite. Fassel to be HC. Zorn to be OC http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3210819

Zguy28
Fassel? NOOOOOOOO!!!!! **** stupid Danny, **** Vinny, I'm not gonna watch the Redskins any more!!!!!11 I wanted Gregg Williams, the players want Williams, what happened to continuity?!?! Snyder is the worst ******* owner everrrrr! He just wants yes-men!!!!!Edit: Oops, wrong forum Move to Dallas then. :whoknows:I'm not gonna count the chickens before they hatch. Tom Coughlin wasn't exactly welcomed in NYC with open arms either. Also, look at Gregg Williams record as a HC in Buffalo. It doesn't exactly standout. :2cents:
Ellis
It's like the Burning Man Festival... but with a Stadium...
Mickalino
Oh, in case you Stadium-Boycotters weren't aware, both Samuels and Cooley are going to wear #21 to the Pro Bowl. I don't know how they can do it, since they're both on offense ?
Oldskool
Fassel was not offered the HC position. Thats the latest. We are, however, looking at OC candidates which means that Saunders is as good as gone. Which sucks as much as Fassel would have been as HC. Mickalino
Fassel was not offered the HC position. Thats the latest. He may not have been officially and technically offered it, but he is expected to. This article is just one hour old, and seems to convince that Fassel WILL eventually be named. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3210819
JosephGibbs
Belay that order for the heavy guns. Beaches are crowded over there and there's a risk of collateral damage. , I love it "Leave anything for us Jon" "Just Bodies" I hope I am quoting that right from Commando

Mickalino
PCS has the easy assignment, in the Tailgate. He must be well-liked by the ES management, for them not to throw him in the Stadium foray

Mickalino
Ok, since I'm afraid to start a thread about this in the Stadium, if the Skins hire Fassel as HC, and say, Zorn as OC, but don't hire a new DC, will Greg Williams, leave, out of spite, for not getting the position ? Mickalino
DAMN, I get the feeling that Fassel is going to overhaul the staff. It's bad enough we're getting Fassel, but the WORST part of it, is we will most likely LOSE Greg Williams as a DC, as a result  :puke: THAT will come back to haunt us, in more ways than one. GibbsFactor
The last time we kept a Gibbs DC didn't work out for us so well, so I'm neutral right now on GW. I hate all the changes but the team is getting old, over priced and needs extreme motivation to get it right. I'd love to see GW and the gang on the field next year, but wouldn't mind a new young whipper snapper to turn us around. I will agree that Fassell isn't the answer.
