CHUBAKAH
I agree. He should probably get around 5 years. But to discount the material losses is foolish. He has lost upwards of $100 million. Couple that with the jail time and suspension from the NFL, I'd say he is getting what he deserves. Hardly. If it were me or you, we'd lose a crap more than just our job. Also remember, he has NO ONE to blame but his own dumb ass. You make losing his salary, and his job like something he didn't have coming. Hell, that was the least I would have expected. While I would never attend a dog fight, I would pay to see this sonofa**** fry. Where do I get the tickets?

Granted, Vick made his own bed, and he will serve his time, but lets not sit here and act like this was the worse crime anyone has ever committed. I'm willing to bet that the Atlanta Falcolns, Nike and the NFL knew about Vick and his dogfighting long before it became an issue.
bschurm
Hardly. If it were me or you, we'd lose a crap more than just our job. Don't include me in that staement. I would be sure to spend whatever it took to have a good defense. Also remember, he has NO ONE to blame but his own dumb ass. You make losing his salary, and his job like something he didn't have coming. Hell, that was the least I would have expected. I agree, he is responsible for his stupidity. And I do not wish to discount the seriousness of what he did. I am not a Vick apologist. I think he should go to jail, but I also think losing upwards of $100 million dollars is a serious consequence. While I would never attend a dog fight, I would pay to see this sonofa**** fry. Where do I get the tickets? And this statement is what makes you a hypocrite. O come down off your pedestal. Vick committed a crime. The penalty for such an act is death, IMO. Comparing what I want for what he did is not even in the same ballpark. Go suck an egg ya friggin panzy. Panzy? I love message boards, you can call any one anything you want with impunity. Btw, your "so-called" Redskins tattoo is an awesome piece of art, but it is not representative of the Washington Redskins.
SkinsBry
"Panzy? I love message boards, you can call any one anything you want without impunity." Or accuse people of going to dog fights when they don't. Who's the hypocrite?
bschurm
Who's the hypocrite? You are the hypocrite my man!!!! You call for the violent death of Michael Vick because he violently killed dogs. This is a contradictory statement, meaning you are the hypocrite. The following statements show your desire for violence. The same violence that has Vick in trouble. It is called blood thirst! And you would pay to see it. I was thinking, let the animals get their revenge. A colosseum with lots and lots of blood-thirsty tigers. I'd pay to see that. packs of blood-thirsty wolves, that are very hungry, with rabies.

But whatever, keep your panties in a bunch and call me all the names you want, if that makes you feel better about yourself. Bye bye. :ciao:
bschurm
So who thinks the Judge will be content w/ 12-18 months that is appearantly on the table for his guilty plea? Also, who thinks his apology and remorse are sincere?
StillUnknown
the people calling for him to be tortured or killed need to come back to reality, you're no better than the people who blame everyone except Vick and make every excuse possible for his actions. imo, he shouldn't be banned for life. the suspension should match his jail sentence and start when he is released from jail, not while he is in jail. If a team wants to gamble on signing him after that, then so be it.

Although I do hear that his judge is a real *******. I still stick by my production, that I've been making from the start, of a year and a day. I agree, that a year and a day is the likely scenario unless he has some real juice to give between now and sentencing.

ES plus porn at the same time is the way to go but accidents will happen. But yeah, it's going to take some pretty solid stuff that leads to arrests for him to get any time off. Might even have to testify. And seriously, by the time all that would come up he'd probably be ready to be getting of prison anyway. A year and a day is definitely what it's going to be. SkinInsite
Given our wacked out justice system, I wouldn't be surprised if the judge gave vick 18-26 month.
codeorama
IMO, what I hope, is that all of the NFL players, white, black or what ever race, realize that breaking the law will result in punishment. I hope Goodell continues to lay the hammer down, regardless of race, anytime a player screws up. If we did half of the things that many of the players do, we'd lose our jobs.
