mumbojumbo
When Jason Campbell was drafted and the pick was traded for I was highly skeptical. I don't know if Jason Campbell is going to pan out. In hindsight the trade and pick is looking better and better. If the Skins had not drafted Campbell, I wonder what the quarterback situation would be today? Three years out it looks like a move with foresight.
nace14
we'd be negotiating with brady quinn right now.

Touchdown Redskins
I think we would have stuck with Mark Brunell and either taken Brady Quinn with the sixth (or possibly higher) pick, or looked for one through free agency. Knowing this franchise, if we went through free agency we'd probably wind up with Matt Schaub. Which isn't horrible considering his potential, cost, and vetern leadership. Edit: Sorry, Schaub wasn't a FA. We woulda traded a pick for him...doh!
bulldog
I bet we would have traded a #1 pick for a guy like Matt Schaub, who may or may not end up turning out as a full-time starter.
ECU-ALUM
We'd be getting an earful of how Mark looks super-smart and fighting his guts out and that Patrick Ramsey is the future leader of this team.

NoDQForums
Lol, Brunell would be still at the helm. Though I would say we would of drafted a first rounder qb in the past draft so possible Brady Quinn??? Unless like previously stated... we traded for another super qb... [[ghost]]
Or Drew Brees.... I don't think so. Brees became a FA after 05. We would have wanted an heir to Brunell, not another fairly seasoned vet (i know he's not old, but he's no rookie) We would have had our pick in 06, and we would have gone after Cutler or Lienart. redsand521
I would think they would have stuck with Brunell for all of last season and then traded up for Russell.
SonOfWashington
They probably would've kept Brunell and then dealt with Quinn crying when we drafted him. Then Cleveland trades us their first round pick next year for him.
