skinsfan07
Just saw it on the ESPNEWS bottom line. Wow, I wonder who replaced him? Thoughts?
Big Weirdo
Why is he out?
OWUeagleMD
He is pulling out on his own because of a "foot injury." It's common for players to opt out of the Pro Bowl with phantom injuries so they don't need to go through the carade of a game that no one cares about. Throw in Bellichick coaching the team, and I'd imagine this isn't the first Caharger "injury" we'll see leading up to the PB. Tom Brady replaces him. skinsfan07
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2740305 Apparently it's a foot injury that'll keep him out. Looks like the "Golden Boy" Tom Brady will most likely be in there AGAIN! Damnit..............
Genghis Khan
I wonder if brady replaces him that way it would be a very interesting pro bowl with all those pissed off charger players.

Laxpunk2006
As far as pro bowl #'s how does this work? Is Phillip Rivers still credited for a Pro Bowl since he was selected for it? Now is Brady credited for one? I ask because I know some people CoughPeterKingcough use Pro Bowls to determine how good a player was.
OWUeagleMD
Both Phillip Rivers and Tom Brady will be credited as going to the Pro Bowl.

skinsfan07
Hey, like it or not he deserves it!and if not him, then who? I guess your right. No one else in the AFC was good enough anyway. I just hate the man.
dsciambi
Can't say I blame him. Why get beat up on for half (1/3?) a game for nothing?
THEArmchairQB
Haha, anyone else find it ironic that Brady replaces Rivers? I would expect to see more of the 'phanton' injury related dropouts from the 'Bolts now that the hoodie&co will be running the show on the AFC sideline. GrimReefa
Can't say I blame him. Why get beat up on for half (1/3?) a game for nothing? Beat up? Hardly. There is no blitzing and most of the d-linemen playing are barely interested. They should just go ahead and make the Pro Bowl a flag football game or something. Mr. S
why not just cancel it. No one watches it and cares. They should just keept it honorary, "these players were elected to the honorary NFL pro-bowl teams" and just leave it at that. They earn a free trip to Hawaii and whatever, do some public appearances and events through the NFL there, and just make it a good ole fashioned drunkfest.
