Mr. S
Yeap, 500 dollar deductible. What I'm worried about is now that we have rolled over to 07 the value has dropped a large percentage according to Kellys Bule Book. I'm just worried that depending on the cost that my baby is gonna get totalled. sorry to hear about that. I would consider the junkyard idea as well. Hopefully your insurance doesn't becomg annoying over this.
Ghost of
We really should hang car thieves. I don't care if the 'insurance' will cover it.
MikeInJc aka M.I.A.
our aerostar just got a dent in the bumper and was considered totalled. Depending on the size of the dent and what caused the dent, it could have had the frame twisted or bent and usually when that occurs they will total the car out. stwasm
I'm sorry, GSG. But, at least you or no one you cared about got hurt. You can replace the car. We can't replace you. Hope you get things worked out with it all.

This should cost you less than a grand to fix. I imagine your car's worth a lot more than that.

Hope you get things worked out with it all. I'm happy no one got injured. I'm also happy I didn't see the hoss who tried to steal it. I don't know what I would have done. Probally got my ass shot, stabbed or hit with the large rock they had. Wait, what year is the car? How in the world would they total it for a busted window and ignition? This should cost you less than a grand to fix. I imagine your car's worth a lot more than that. Thats what I was trying to figure out. It's probably gonna be for a grand or so. I was bsing with the tow truck guy and he told me that the ignition is done. Whoever tried to jack it didn't know their ass from their elbow and just mauled it. twa
There should be mobile column repair specialists in your area, they can come out and repair or remove the column and return when rebuilt. I would guess 450 or less on the column and 200 on the glass cash price. I would just turn it in to the insurance, thats why you pay the bloodsuckers. I've never had to use insurance for something like this so I'm gonna get my moneys worth.
