flexxskins
First of all, this is not intended to be a CR bashing thread. I would just like to see how many other fans are maybe noticing Carlos still giving up on WRs after they have made a reception? I say "still," simply because I remember that it was mentioned here some time ago. I have also noticed that it seems like he tends to shy away from any big contact lately. Maybe it's because it is near the end of the season and he doesn't want to take any chances, but it looks really bad at times IMO. Thoughts? BTW, Happy Holidays everyone! skinfan2k
i dunno but i have been impressed lately with rogers ability to keep guys in front of him and not give up big yards.. keeping holt to 50 yds is pretty damn good

ChampSkinsFanatic
he stepped it up last week but I think its time to look to free agency for a solid corner
TaylorPickSix
I would keep him as a starter but sign Nate Clements or Asante Samuel to be the #1 corner, and put Springs at nickel.

kwitt
he stepped it up last week but I think its time to look to free agency for a solid corner Every team in the NFL is going to have money under the cap to spend but us. Good luck on that one.
TotalRecall
Yeah, he has great speed. I love the way he can accelerate to catch up to a WR if the WR got the jump on him. I haven't seen him run in a game. Everytime that Rogers is on camera, he's jogging or studder-stepping. He doesn't play hard or play well at all!!! He gets beat badly in every game. The skins need to get rid of this dead-weight bust. I was watching the Broncos/Bengals game on Sunday and I was so jealous of the Broncos for having 2 very good cornerbacks. Eventhough I'd like to get fresh young guys from college instead of getting some other team's players, we need some good corners in here bad and need to go make some deals for some. ChampSkinsFanatic
man i miss champ bailey.. i just want to draft cbs Its so sad that we could have a good team if we didnt have such greedy ****s as players. Remember when Marvin or Peyton took a pay cut to keep playing as Colts. We dont really have guys like that. The ones that we have like that are expendible. phishisthegreatstuff
rogers is improving...hes a very good #2 corner. We just need to sign clements or samuel and either restructure springs or cut him.

DaveP666
Losing Bailey and Smoot is now coming back to haunt us. And opposing coaches know it when they come to play us. We've been out coached. Simple. GW isn't the mastermind he says he is, or he would have prepared for this before the season started.

He looks like he's scared to stick his nose in there and tackle somebody at times, like he's tryin' to be pretty or something. You have to be physical to play corner in this league and it blows my mind how he never plays bump and run. He gives every WR atleast 10 yard cushion and they STILL run right past him. He needs to step his game up and be held accountable just like everyones who's not doing thier job

He just doesn't seem to care at all. Especially after he has been beat.
stwasm
Doc Walker mentioned that he thinks Carlos is thinking too much out there instead of just doing his job. Thus, it leads to the problems he's having now.
Capt. Jack
Rogers did a good job holding Holt in check. Unfortunately, Wright and Jimoh got torched by 80 year old Bruce.

fwo40
Rogers will never be the leader of a secondary...I don't even know if he's fast enough to play CB. Hopefully,he'll develope into a #2 guy....although he looks a lot like a nickel right now.

Guest JCsSkins
For whatever reason Extreme Skins does not allow me to post new threads. If some one could start a new thread with this info it would be helpful, otherwise this will become lost in this thread. If the skins lose they could pick as high as 3rd, if they win they could pick as low as 9th. By the way....strength of schedule is the only factor used to decided order when teams have the same record. Head to head record, conference record, etc. mean nothing. 2007 DRAFT 1st-ROUND SELECTION ORDER (W-L %s based on all 16 opponents this season for each team) # Team W-L Opponents' W-L % 1 Detroit 2-13 .531 2 Oakland 2-13 .536 3 Cleveland 4-11 .527 4 Tampa Bay 4-11 .549 5 Arizona 5-10 .496 6 Washington 5-10 .513 7 Houston 5-10 .527 8 Minnesota 6-9 .473 9 San Francisco 6-9 .482 10 Miami 6-8 .536 11 St. Louis 7-8 .455 12 Atlanta 7-8 .451 13 Carolina 7-8 .487 14 Green Bay 7-8 .500 15 Pittsburgh 7-8 .509 16 New York Giants 7-8 .531 17 Buffalo 7-8 .567 18 New England (from Seattle) 8-7 .433 19 Kansas City 8-7 .500 20 Jacksonville 8-7 .527 21 Cincinnati 8-7 .531 22 Tennessee 8-7 .576 23 New York Jets 8-6 .482 24 Philadelphia 8-6 .487 25 Denver 9-6 .522 26 Dallas 9-5 .451 27 New Orleans 10-5 .460 28 New England 11-4 .509 29 Indianapolis 11-3 .509 30 Baltimore 12-3 .473 31 Chicago 13-2 .415 32 San Diego 13-2 .
