Slateman
Hey guys, I'm sort of thinking of trying to run/hike fast with a backpack. The reason is that I'd like to be able to jog to my Bible study on Tuesday and have some clothes to change into. Only thing I could find was some of those hip packs that Camelback makes, and those aren't big enough.

ashburnskinsfan
I don't know how much space you are looking for but Sub-4 makes good products designed for runners. http://www.amazon.com/Sub-4-Running-Backpack/dp/B0007ICNKA
praise_gibbs
Well, the title threw me a bit. I wasn't sure if running IN a backpack was even possible. I still stand by that assumption.

jwpanic
camelback makes actual backpacks, not just ones for the hips. when i run marathons i can fit an extra pair of shoes, shorts, shirt, undies, socks, and some food in there. any camping store should carry them. This may be off topic, but how would you go about changing into the extra pair of undies during a marathon?

IONTOP
You need to think real carefully before asking a question like that . . . Touche... Um... why would you need extra undies... err... when do you get the oppertunity to change them? I don't think I've ever seen someone running a marathon drop trow(SP?) and change their underwear... Ah crap, screw it, you know what I meant...
