One Shot
Gibbs said in his presser theyd give him some work this week, what was all the commotion about last week when people were talking about him out for the season?
SMOSS89
well, if he does come back, and if he does play, we're gonna learn that our play is based on mentality, not on whether or not our best CB helps. It helps a lot, but he will bring back the swagger and the blitzing will be back
jimster
we still may not see him until Indy, which would be fine with me.
MumboSauce
Yeah, even if he is back or plays...how effective would he be?...probably would be limited as well. We definitely need him though.
PresidentClinton07
Please dont play against the Titans!!! Please dont.

Grimm
They should sit him for the Titans game unless he's 100%, we will need him more against Indy, and don't want him to hurt himself again
authentic
Yeah, even if he is back or plays...how effective would he be?...probably would be limited as well. We definitely need him though. G Williams said after the game last night, that since SS injury, they use him on something like an assistant secondaries coaching capacity to keep his head on the game. So when he does come back he can just concentrate on getting back into playing shape. Any dose of a healthy Springs will pay huge dividends. Supreme Wu
No, if he can go, definately play him against the Titans. Get some of that rust off JUST IN TIME for Indy.
PCRoughrider
Whenever he starts playing, he's going to take at least a month to get back into playing shape.
APBT
He will take a while to get his legs back, but he is pretty good at jumping routes and tipping balls.
ImmortalDragon
No, if he can go, definately play him against the Titans. Get some of that rust off JUST IN TIME for Indy. If he reinjuries himself everyone will be asking why was he in such a game. If we can't beat the Titans without Springs, we don't deserve to beat them with Springs. terpfan
I just hope he's ready to play agains the Colts. If he does I think we actually have a decent chance at winning that game. If we cant beat the Titans without Shawn we are in some rpetty deep poop anyway.
WVUforREDSKINS
we still may not see him until Indy, which would be fine with me. It would be nice to have him back this week but I'd rather him get better and then come back for Indy. We will for sure need him up there. I don't believe that we will need him in order to win at home vs. Tenn.
Mackdaddydean
Whenever he starts playing, he's going to take at least a month to get back into playing shape. It's not like he's a high school player whos been sitting on his duffer this whole time....professional athletes get back to playing shape in 2 weeks. Tarhog
I'd try and temper my excitement if I were you guys. I'm skeptical, given how reluctant they've been to put him on the playing field, that he's anywhere near 100%, and I'm also not sure you can simply plug someone back into the defense after missing the first 5 weeks and expect him to do well. If he's truly healthy, then of course we've got to get him back in there. But I think you have to be realistic about what he can do, especially coming right out of the gate. ceviker
If we can have him for the Titans, that'll give him a week to get in game shape for Indy (just like clinton needed the vikings game to get in game shape). Man I miss Springs
