Da_Truth
This was the GREATEST addition this off-season. I am loving his scheme. He has called 2 great games back to back each over 30 points. He said he realized some things Brunell wasnt comfortable with and has adjusted his play-calling to suit him very well. Awesome!
GhostRider
Heh, I thought we ready to throw him out on the street after week 2. How things change!! Great gameplan, go skins!!
ibrahim
We gained 484 yards against the friggin Jags Defense. That right there earns my respect!
WVUforREDSKINS
I don't care about the "dink and dunks." So many here have hated on this but we got a lot of first downs and kept our D off the field.. I bet there won't be any threads calling for Brunell or Al Saunders head this week.. My fellow skins fans (minus JesusTheisman, a Cowboys fan) stay strong and stay together...WE ARE A FORCE!!!!! HTTR
mistertim
The number of overall yards gained against the Jax defense is incredibly impressive. I salute the coaching staff and players.

CapitalDefense
So was that 100% of the playbook? Nope, only 68 pages worth..... Very nice game called by Al today, it reminded me of the gamne last year when we went to play the Chiefs, everything they did worked that day, and again today. Against a mighty fine defense I might add.
Skin Them Alive
So was that 100% of the playbook? I would say about 60%. :notworthy To the offensive Guru.

REEGSKINS
i think al saunders' offense suits clinton better than joe's up the middle runs. ive been saying for 2 years i would like to see clinton get to the outside on sweeps and tosses and stretch plays. Zen-like Todd
The main thing Al Saunders brings is volume. Similar styles, we say the good 'ol counter trey at times today, etc. The Saunders verbiage really just allows the team to change things up on the fly and kill the other team with volume. Jimbo
It was never Saunders I had a problem with anyway. It was Brunell. Now that they both seem to be on the same page in that massive playbook, things are really starting to look a lot brighter.

He said he realized some things Brunell wasnt comfortable with and has adjusted his play-calling to suit him very well. Awesome! I was going to start a thread along these lines but you beat me to it. The offense did well today and I agree that a lot of credit goes to the game plan and the playcalling.
Pete
Dam near everybody contributed today on O. He mixed it up nicely, and Brunell did seem more confident out there today. What ever he did, he's on the right track  Good job Al........

YES!!!I called that one right after the loss to the boys that Mark was coming out of the pocket all wrong and there would be adjustments to suit his style of play and is starting to work great!!!! Welcome to THE REDSKINS, Al Sanders, Your "special" plays include the Quarterback, as well as the Running Back and Receivers. redskin48
You have to figure that it would take him just a little while to figure out his new players I think that thing will get better and better as we go. I would like to see the D play a little better. I think it will help alot to get springs back.
