Kilmer17
After dominating the last two friendlies, and watching Italy and Czech literally start falling apart with injuries, are you still down on the US chances? The Latvia game Sunday was as dominating a performance as I can remember vs a European team. If not for the gymnastic heroics of their keeper, that game could have been 7-0. Sucks that Gibbs is lost, but he wasnt going to start unless someone gets injured or booked.

For those of us who aren't up to speed on such matters but are interested... who is Gibbs, why does it suck that he is gone, and if he wasn't going to start, why is it a big deal? Great news on the friendly matches. It would be great to have a good showing in the WC this year. ...

He woul dhav ebeen the first guy off the bench if we have a lead or are playing for a tie. Now that will likely be based on the position needed (central vs outside) and what team we are playing. Sort of like losing your nickle corner.

Kilmer17
It really depends on the situation. If we have a 1 goal lead on Czech, then Jimmy Conrad will probably come in for a forward. If it's tied and we are settling on a draw, then I expect Bocanegra to come in for a Midfielder. Against Italy, it will probably be Berhalter because he has experience against Italy's strikers. If you meant who will replace him on the roster, that's Berhalter. I dont expect Albright to see any action unless we are losing and we have already subbed out 1 defender for an attacker.
