mbraun2
With Vinatieri off the market, what are the Redskins plans? Will they keep Hall though he has been injured and lost a little bit of leg power? What about Vanderjagt? I think hed be a great fit. Most accurate field goal kicker in the league, can he handle kick offs though?
skinfan2k
since when is vinateri off the market, or do u mean the redskins can't afford. I wrote a thread about this and gibbs officially said that we were keeping frost and john hall for the upcoming season.
MossFan89
we are keeping j hall, hes gonna b fine. frost is what makes me think.
SaltySpice1028
Vanderjagt can't do kickoffs. The Colts had to use up an extra roster spot to keep a kickoff guy. I think we'll keep Hall and maybe see what our guy in NFL Europe does. When Hall is healthy (which is about 3 weeks a season), he's not a bad kicker. mbraun2
Vinatieri signed with the Colts today per espn. There is a thread about it.

jrockster21
Ahhhhh!!! The sky is falling!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!! Never fear...if JG thinks Hall can still get the job done, I'm not too worried. Get Frost to work on his kickoffs, or maybe get a new punter in the draft...we'll be fine.

Get Frost to work on his kickoffs, or maybe get a new punter in the draft...we'll be fine. I was going to suggest the same thing, as Frost should be handling kickoffs not only to ease John Hall and prevent yet another injury, but also so Frost can improve on his leg power and build confidence in his kicking ability. Hopefully it all works out.
mbraun2
If he's healthy, Hall is adequate. I don't want adequate, I want the best possible, especially if the player has injury history.

santanaistheman
Even though i dont agree with it we will stay with Hall and Frost. I think the thing with Hall last year was he never was 100% after his injury. Maybe this year he'll be healthy and actually able to kick past the 10. I think Frost is simply a below average punter and wont get much better. If we could get a good punter it would be such a weapon.
Grimm
I have a feeling they will bring someone in to challenge Frost for the job, hopefully someone that can do kick-offs to keep Hall healthy
Guest santana4prez
Gibbs says the Skins are not in the market for a kicker or a punter. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/03/16/AR2006031601802.html It could be a smokescreen you never know. MattGeorge85
Novak left when Hall came back. He did his job kinda good, but he is with Arizona last I heard. I would like to see Hall improved next year, it will help take off some of the pressure off the team. :logo:
