Carlito Sway
Only if down in the fourth quarter. Would suck to win the game and go to the next round with Taylor Jacobs as the #1 . . .
PleaseBlitz
If he is going to get hurt he will get hurt fielding a kick-off or punt.. or he will get hurt being horse-collared after making the catch. In other words he is a football player, he can get hurt anywhere and at any position on the field. You are right, he could get hurt in either of those situations, but by putting him in both situations, you are doubling his chance of injury. Punt returns are violent, chaotic plays, and if the 11 guys running down the field knew that the opposing teams best offensive playmaker had the ball, they would try to ring his bell. Its not worth it. AB is just fine back there. I would rather see Thrash back there than Santana.
santanamoss89
If we are down and are having trouble getting something started on offense then yes. But its a big risk if were winning and its early in the game.
illone
Leave Brown back there. The guy can do just as much as Santana can when carrying the ball.
carlsbadd
I Like the idea but it scare the bejeezes out of me to think he would get hurt returning a kick. Stcik with AB or put Thrash in there.
nyfan
I think we put him back there in key situations only, ala Darrell Green vs the Bears in the glory days! or should I say the first glory days. Agreed! I remember when Green jumped over a Bear on the way to a touchdown in the palyoff's! Thanks for reminding me of that memory
monkfan81
I think putting Moss in as a decoy faking a reverse would be OK with Brown running it, but other than that - NO!! If he gets hurt, we are SOL!! Just my two cents.:2cents: GO SKINS!!!!
RDSKNfaithfull
Yes hold nothing back
rockANDallstar
Only if we really need to, I wouldn't want to put him in and risk an injury, but then again he returned one for the Jets last postseason for a TD, so he can come up big on ST in the playoffs... We'll see
Ant15fromNJ
Yes he gives them the best chance to take one back. Its the playoffs and everything is on the line anyway so we should do whatever we could to make our team better.
FunBunch7
Do any of you remember Desmond Howard's first TD as a Skin? It was week 2, 1992 vs Atlanta...Brian Mitchell fielded the punt and paused...all the defenders surrounded him and he laterralled it back to Desmond Howard and he went all the way for a TD. What if...? We did the same thing...have both AB and Moss back...it might work.
slik
not only no but hellnaw, it would be suicide to put our only reciever out there returning. stop and just think for yourself for a minute...... would it REALLY be worth it?
RDSKNfaithfull
Maybe we shouldn't throw to him as much either becasue he might get hurt.
Eparadox
not only no but hellnaw, it would be suicide to put our only reciever out there returning. stop and just think for yourself for a minute...... would it REALLY be worth it? In the playoffs, almost anything is "worth it"
FarEastBeast
I say to do it only if we're losing, which at some point we will be. Hold nothing back, we put him back there at points in the regular season too. Situation dictates, but there's no doubt he's our most capable return man. NOVA2Tampa
I say NO...there is a big difference between running a pattern as a WR and havng to worry about 1 or 2 defenders versus returning a kickoff or punt and having the entire opposition coming at you. SouthernSkinsFan
Agreed! I remember when Green jumped over a Bear on the way to a touchdown in the palyoff's! Thanks for reminding me of that memory Yeah, but remember D. Green hurt his ribs on that play too!
smartestmaninamerica
Well, how often do punt returners get hurt? I can't recall last time I saw that. It's one of those things. If he takes it to the house you look like a genius, if he gets hurt, you look like a dope.
smartestmaninamerica
Brown just always makes me so nervous for some reason. Having Brown and Moss back might not be a bad idea. A punt return for a TD just is such a momentum shifter. Might be worth it.
Kounter Trey
Yeah, but remember D. Green hurt his ribs on that play too! But remember that return gave us the lead in that game and we never looked back--a playoff game, a game you can't afford to lose. Had a bit of success in those playoffs, too, as I recall. jauburn
Moss has great hands and quickness. Yes, if we're down, definitely.
SkinFan63
Nope. Antonio Brown gets paid for that. If we can give him some decent blocks, he's on his way downtown! Moss needs to do what he's paid for....... The deep threat on offense. Our first offensive play of the game should be the deep post to Moss.....Touch Down! Hail!:point2sky
misery
I say in the playoffs you do it!! We need a game breaker and moss has proved time and again he is one. Also you can take him out if, I mean when we get a big lead on the Bucs
JoeKnowsBest
Antonio Brown is paid to return kicks and can't be trusted to play reciever. Besides, he's already taken one to the house for us at a key moment. So just let the man do what he does best and do his job. We need Moss to be fresh and catch passes, not banged up and exhausted from returning kicks. The only way Moss should return a kick is if we were in dire straits and we needed a big play near the end of the game.
SkinFaninOKC
The Panthers use Steve Smith to return punts and he is their ONLY real good WR option. Why not do it?? Santana was used like that in NY last season and the Jets almost, no, should have won in Pittsburgh last year. Balls to the wall. Go all in.
