ThomasRoane
Short KO's are a burr under my saddle too. We don't need to be giving the other team the ball on the 35. Esp with injuries in the secondary. Check out Connor Hughes from UVA. Was deadly accurate. Great leg. And very clutch. Prob could get him in 3rd or 4th rnd. I know he wouldn't slip farther than that. Not with so many close games now the last 2 years. You really have to make every opportunity count. http://virginiasports.collegesports.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/hughes_connor00.html
inmate running the asylum
Considering he used to be a quarterback, I wonder how often Tupa lobbies for a fake punt. That would be awesome to see him throw a pass on fourth down. Not if he didn't complete it.
the_y_train
I agree about the punting issue. This is my first post btw. I'm 25 years old and have lived in the DC area since I was 2. I've been a fan since about age 8 and have been a season ticket holder since 2003. I got myself on the waiting list when I was 10 years old! What other upgrades will be needed? Probably another WR, a big, physical guy who is a posession receiver. And a pass rusher. Thoughts?
Jumbo
I agree. Both kicker and punter need to be seriously evaluated and I wouldn't be surprised if both had hard competitions to keep their jobs. Hall's good, but he's been injured a lot the last two years. I just don't trust Frost to kick us out of trouble. I think Hall will be back if he heals at all normal. But I'm very open to change here, though I was only "ok" with Novack. On a related note, I realize we have Brown back there, but we don't want to use Moss much--too valuable, so how about looking for a real KR specialist?. That could make a huge difference in our game the way our offense seems to be so highly efficient on a shorter field. It might be worth emphasizing that position. And here's a stupid idea : If jacobs doesn't step up as a receiver (talk about a slow learning curve  ) isn't he fast enough with good enough hands to try him there. I know there may be a "fragile" issue but I'm wondering.
MartinC
Signed with Arizona then cut and then (drum roll please) signed with Dallas for the last coupl eof games after they cut Cundlif. He played against us in that wonderful game at Fed Ex ! My bad - he is still with Arizona.I thought I had heard he had signed with Dallas - must have been the Arizona game I recallhimplaying against us.
