China
Claymont Celebrating Christmas Weed CLAYMONT, DE-November 28, 2005 - A holiday tradition returns this Saturday in Claymont with a parade up Philadelphia Pike featuring this year's Christmas Weed. It was born in the 1990s when someone put decorations on a tall weed sprouting from the median on the I-495 bridge. Now a new weed is chosen as the town's holiday symbol each year. Saturday's parade is being organized by the Claymont Community Coalition. It will be followed by the decoration of the weed. ----- And I thought they meant this kind of Chrismas weed:

MonkeySkin
I thought you were talking about Christmas bud. I guess a lot of weed plants are ready for picking once it gets around this time, and there's usually a lot of good stuff around.
