stwasm
Ironically, I thought Patten was a better pick-up than Moss.
chairmangao
Our WR depth chart should be Moss, Jacobs, Thrash, Cooley, Portis, Sellers, Royal, ST, Patten
HailYeah
In Patten's defense, that #21 for TB is one big CB. Wait, why am I defending him? This is the NFL. We will surely miss Patten's PI making ability.
Skin'emAlive
... 2 years ago i went to the fan apreciation day and saw taylor jacobs a bunch. Boy i tell you hwat. The man is fast, and had the sickest juke ive seen (till tomlinson's juke out of Ty Law). he split three guys.... for a td of course. Even though it was jus practice, its still something. G-Prime
Actually, I didn't forget that. What Patten did on that play is nothing different from what receivers do on many, many plays. It was a call that was made that often is not.And Walrus, drawing penalties is indeed production. It produces first downs every time it happens. It produces yardage. It sustains drives. It allows the offense to continue to operate. Don't get me wrong, I really, really want to see Patten get more involved and become more of an offensive weapon. It hasn't happened up to anyone's expectations so far. But to say he sucks, and to say he hasn't produced; both of those statements don't tell the whole truth. Drawing flags here and there, isn't production bud. WR by definition catch balls. He's not doing that. He's had his chances and he didn't produce. Interference calls can't be relied upon. That's why to me they make little difference. It's not all up to the skill of patten, he goes against a disciplined CB he won't have that luxury. He needs to do his job, catch balls that's it. Inigo Montoya
Been waiting to see what this kid can do. And i don't think Patten's 15 yds worth of offensive contribution and dropping passes that go for interceptions will be missed!!!
Hail26
With Patten likely out on Sunday, does this open the door for Taylor Jacobs? I hope he has a good game.
