I'm ****ing ecstatic with this news tbh. Hope he has a good season for the team's sake, but has never done what I thought he would when we drafted him. Yes, injuries, but even before them was not the beast I was expecting. Not gonna lose any sleep over this.

As a fellow Tar Heel, I am so hoping Sam is our man for the future. This draft is very important to get him some pieces to help him out.

Braves are my main team, but will admit to a little fondness for the O's due to going to a lot of games when I lived up there several years ago. I think if things click this season like they can, will compete for a wildcard. Hey, good to have an American League team also in case they win and the Braves fall apart haha.

Anything can happen during draft time let's be honest. However, and even though we need help in other key areas also, we desparately need help in the secondary and I think we will take a corner in the first round. My choice is Porter, Jr but if he is gone I think one of Forbes or Brents will be there and I would be fine with either.

Apparently, according to my niece at least lol, today is National Road Trip Day. Just got me thinking about some road trips I have taken in the past and ones I hope to take either this summer or the next. One road trip I really enjoyed was when I drove out to Montana a couple years ago to visit a friend of mine and to go hunting. On the way there, we got lost more than once and picked up a hitchhiker who was the spitting image of Bill Murray...if BM was a crackhead lol. Good times. Would like to make a trip to Canada when get a chance and one through South America also. How about ya'll? Any dream road trips or crazy stories?

I think Wentz is going to fit in nicely here. He has all the tools you want in an NFL QB and if he avoids the injury bug(Big ****ing knock on wood) then I can see him having a very productive season. New start for him and I hope he takes full advantage of it.

Young needs to stop being a prima donna and play the way he is supposed to. I know some fans will be like' Well who cares how he acts, as long as he produces.' Well I'm not one of them. Comes across as an arrogant prick way too often and his stats, such as they are, don't make up for that. Hopefully he gets better in that regard we shall see.

I think we have a solid shot at the playoffs if injuries don't decimate us and the talent we do have plays to said talent. Yes that always seems to be the case with this team, but it has to change at some point. Right? Oh and if we do miss out again, I think some questions need to be asked about ole Ron but that's a discussion for another time.
