  1. Corner just decided not to guard that play lol. 10 yard separation
  2. Love has thrown like 3 or 4 of passes while fading backwards. That last one had excellent zip, his others were kinda float-y.
  3. GBs commitment to the run is really draining clock early and softening the D. This is a great drive.
  4. Both Johnson and Slowik call plays in their current orgs. I'd naturally assume that they would both call plays when they assume the title of HC, and the OC would be more of an assistant. Something not too far off from what Andy Reid does with the Chiefs. There is no guarantee it shakes out this way, but when you have the kind of success these guys have had as playcallers, Its probably the most likely pathway.
  5. I'm waiting to see who is gonna run our offense before I really dig into the big 3. I really like all 3 overall, but I just wanted to layout my personal surface level "biggest concern" with each guy. I have seen a lot of this spoken about and I know some disagree, this is just where I am right now. Williams - His height. Until we have the combine numbers we don't know if he is 6'1, a hair under or a shade over. Ether way, after seeing opposing D's actively work to stifle a 6'1 Howell, its concerning to build our future around a guy of the same vert. He can "play tall" all he wants but life is a whole lot easier when you can reach the good cereal on the top shelf. Williams may require an exceptional play where a tall QB can just make a good one for the same result. Main difference being its way more repeatable and consistent for the tall guy. Maye - Lack of an X-factor. On the surface, Maye does a lot of things well, but where the other 2 of the big 3 have that clear and obvious "special sauce" Maye does not strike me in such a way. Williams can beat you with off schedule plays w/ his arm talent that you can not game plan for. Daniels can kill a D with his wheels. Maye can kill you with.... solid and sustainable play. While that is good, both of the other guys seem to be able to do the same and more. Daniels - Buying flash vs consistency. While Daniels has been good through his college career, he has only given you a year at the ++ level. Williams has been seen as "that dude" for 2, maybe 3 years. Maye for around 2 years. Those guys have shown staying power, Daniels has not. Opposing teams have seen what they both had, gameplanned against them and the both maintained high level play. It is way easier for me to be confident in high level success for Maye and WIlliams than it is for Daniels.
  6. People were calling other peeps soft for moving that game. lol That would have been apocalyptic. Would have lost players to the blizzard
  7. The touch on that was pretty. Didn't need to rifle it, just an easy lofted ball.
  8. Its pretty good, and very QB friendly. Stroud has already had several scripted plays where all he has to do is deliver a good ball to a predetermined target. Avoids putting to much weight on his shoulders, but still allows spots and times to be the tide that lifts his team.
  9. So many big plays. Fun for me. D coordinators probably tearing their hair out.
  10. We can match money if we want to. Its debatable if you should if its like 15 Mil, but we can. We can't however provide personnel power as that goes to Peters or North Carolina itself if he values going home.
  11. There is no debate that our situation is vastly superior to Carolina, but we saw Dan out-kick the coverage when he brought in Rivera. Crazy money and unreasonable power at the HC spot is an alluring draw. Tepper will be able to draw somebody he probably shouldn't have access to with that offer, whether its Ben or not. There is probably a 95% chance he out-kicks his own coverage w/ his HC search, its just a question of by how far.
  12. Good-googly-moogly, even for a hypothetical talking point this supplemental draft stuff involving Williams is so far beyond tin foil hat territory its not even funny. I'm pretty sure the shark was cleared about 400ft back or so.
  13. I believe it has been pointed out already that an active NFL player is not allowed to own a part of a team, so at least some of that stuff you can straight up ignore.
