Quick questions for y’all: is there a chance that Scott Turners offense is very well designed but he himself is a horrible play caller as in he lacks the ability to understand the flow of the game? I’m curious if his philosophy actually works with multiple types of skill sets at quarterback but he himself can’t figure out how to make it work in a game setting? Secondly , if he was let go do we think anyone would want to take the OC job here knowing that the entire coaching staff would likely be unemployed this time next year? I’m torn on this, I want to see Howell play in the system he already knows instead of learning a new one for the 23 season and then likely learning a 3rd system in 24 🤷‍♂️. IMO , keeping Scott might actually assist in his development more than letting him go. Can you hire or promote someone to do the play calling that isn’t the OC?

I honestly feel bad for all of you on this thread. It reminds me of a person who buys powerball lottery tickets a few times a week, has their hopes up for a few days until the drawing and then are absolutely crushed when they once again don’t win… it’s like a horrible cycle of optimism followed with depression. I don’t think it’s healthy to even be in this thread for anyone. Someday DAn won’t own the team for whatever reason, in our lifetime or not but who knows. Let’s just focus on the upcoming season and hopefully the paloffs 🍻🍻

I have no opinion on if he comes here or not to be honest. I can find articles for both sides of literally any point on any subject on the internet so all us posting a punch of opinion pieces isn’t helping answer my question,I was asking if you and others thought “honestly “ that getting Russell Wilson (at the reported trade cost) was the only “realistic” QB option this off-season to make us paloff or SB contenders for the next 3-5 years? Even in his first five starts before the thumb injury, the tape didn't back up Wilson's numbers. The athleticism and ability to create was not the same. He missed three starts and his first month back from thumb surgery was a mess, a big enough chunk of time to knock him out of the top 10. It was a hard year to grade. His rate stats wound up looking incredible, but his PFF grade fell off a cliff. (He was 20th this year, sixth in 2020.) The most confusing part was the last two weeks, when he and the Seahawks looked sensational. It was nice to see. I see more than a few people suggesting (3) first round draft picks and more for a QB that was really good with some great seasons. He is 33 and last year looks like he is possibly declining. Is this really our best shot of being a competitive SB conversation team for the next 2-5 years? If it is then it is but the costs seems high on the trade side and I’m sure Mr. Wilson won’t be playing for less than 25 mil a year 🤷‍♂️. seems like a large investment into a single player when I’m not sure it would make us a playoff team let alone a SB team… y’all are the experts on all this so if that’s the way to go then “ GO COMMANDER WILSON” 🤦🏼‍♂️ ,damn that sounds soooo bad

I’m not following the logic of this whole scenario (not your point directly) just the idea we would want or support one of the worlds most corrupt organizations ( US CONGRESS) investigating a smaller and probably less corrupt organization? When this is perceived to be the last hope of our fans to get change we are making a deal with the Most Power Hungry Corrupt entity I know of to oust the owner of our team? From my personal perspective on the issues with WFT it boils down to the “human” in human beings, there are ****ty people that do ****ty things and this isn’t new, it’s been like this throughout time. The issues with our team aren’t the disease they are just the symptoms of what is happening in our world not just today but ever since time began. I grow so weary of the uproar about these issues and especially now because we want corruption to investigate corruption as if there will be any change in how people treat people in this world…. This kind of solution is just so you can feel good? Seriously people, if you are really upset with these issues then accepting the corrupt to investigate the corrupt is insane unless you just want to sleep well at night knowing something happened somewhere and there was an investigation so moving on 🤷‍♂️. So many in these threads jump up on a soapbox exclaiming their disdain for how horrible this all is….. y’all want these types of issues to become less prevalent then start at your work, your friends, your neighborhoods. Be aware, speak up, don’t let bad people get away with bad things anywhere we can, even in small things because when bad people get power they don’t stop doing the same things they got away with before.
