  1. I'm seeing many fans all over the internet who are adamant that the Vikings got a stat padding garbage time quarterback who won't take you anywhere in the playoffs suddenly drooling at the prospect of potentially landing Matthew Stafford last year. It's amazing. His nickname is "Stat Paddford" for a reason. The dude has never won a playoff game.
  2. I don't know how much smoke one has to see to presume fire, but it's still apparently not enough for some people.
  3. Keeping Kyle Allen is a no brainer. I have no issue if they take a QB in a later round if they love the guy, and I also have no issue with them signing a FA to compete with Allen. The options are (ranked from best to worst, IMO): -Prescott -Trubisky -Rivers -Brissett -Fitzpatrick -Newton -Dalton -Taylor Dak Prescott is not worth the money he thinks he is. If you thought Kirk Cousins wasn't good enough to pay what the Vikings paid back in 2018, then you should be adamant against singing Prescott. This also takes into account the gruesome injury from this season. Rivers is too old and also injured, IMO. I'd be okay with a Trubisky or Brissett type to come in and compete.
  4. I'm okay with keeping Kyle Allen and drafting a quarterback in a later round. Hell, I'd be okay with keeping Haskins on the roster going into training camp to see if there's anything salvageable. And I don't mean keeping him with the hopes of him turning into a franchise guy and to start. That ship has sailed. But as a 3rd stringer potential backup? Why not?
  5. If Alex can't go on Sunday, why not just line up Chase in the wildcat? I mean he carried the offense yesterday, so there is precedent.
  6. I'm just going to pretend that they drafted Terry #15 overall in 2019 from here on out.
  7. Can't we just pretend that we drafted Terry #15 overall in 2019?
  8. Another wonderful Bruce Allen signing.
  9. No, it's meant as a cover to excuse the poor play of the quarterback mostly. Remember how the offensive line went from god-awful to serviceable in 2015? What changed that year?
  10. Terry leads the league in YAC. Can we please stop with the "we have no weapons on offense" excuses?
  11. I wouldn't take what Young tweeted out as proof of the seriousness of his injury. I remember Guice saying he was "good" while smiling and eating a lollipop before he was announced as done for the season the next day.
  12. Honestly, I would not be mad if they simply kept the name as "Washington Football Team". It's simple and will not garner any controversy whatsoever.
  13. The sponsors who threatened him over the name change are also going to have to threaten him over this. IMO, that's the only way he sells the team.
  14. You don't "make it right" by firing 2 employees and letting one quietly retire when you know a damaging story about the garbage organization is going to drop exposing these creeps...you do it when they are accused after a thorough investigation. A formal complaint and internal investigation was done on Santos in 2019. It's very telling that last week was the time they chose to fire him. "Making it right" by compensating an employee leaving the company but also making them sign an NDA...means Snyder knew. No one is actively rooting to have more victims. No one takes pleasure in reading what these women went through. But if you think that the only men in that organization were doing this were the only ones named in the WaPo story, there's a bridge in Brooklyn that I can sell you. And the NFL did take over the investigation into the Carolina Panthers...which didn't have anything to do with rules violations.
  15. It's will be insane to me if the NFL doesn't step in and take over the investigation. They have to.
  16. There is more to this story. There is a reason why the story seemingly took forever to publish.
  17. If the fanbase up north weren't so off-putting and obnoxious, I would seriously consider switching at this point. Maybe just root for nothing but failure as long as Snyder owns the team.
  18. This has got to be the final straw for Snyder's ownership. Sheehan has a lawyer on right now talking about the women who signed NDA's were more likely than not given something (money) that incentivized them to sign them. Her point was that if they were paid to sign the NDA, it would be nearly impossible for Snyder to not have known what was going on. She also said that illegal conduct is not protected by NDA. Edit: The lawyer was not talking about the standard NDA's that are given to people when they are working for a company, but one that is signed when they leave.
  19. I thought this was fairly public knowledge? It broke back in 2013, but the "official" story broke in 2014 and didn't name him. Also HTTR24_7 guy was another one. RG3 was sending weiner pictures to him (allegedly, but...there were leaks of RG3 taking shirtless pictures and sending them to other females on his wedding night...so it's believable). Now we know why he hated Kirk with a passion.
  20. The continued employment of Allen was odd. The "he must have something on Snyder" jokes were prophetic.
  21. JLC, as well as Daniels were catfished. Ever wonder how these random fans would break stories on Twitter (or here)? They were the catfishers.
  22. The catfishing story disappeared REAL quick back in 2014. There is more information out there if you do some digging.
