  1. Once I witnessed Wentz over throwing a 6'6" Thomas by 4' on a short out, it confirmed it for me that this guy is not a professional grade QB. Just because he can throw it far. I will not watch another game this year unless at the very least a QB change happens. Whats the point? We know what the current product is. Riverboat Ron keeps expecting different results every week while employing the same tactics.
  2. I find myself watching some games because I'm curious just how theyll screw themselves out of a win. Every game seems as if the other team knows every play we call. The saddest part is I find myself laughing at this inept team sort of how they used to laugh at the keystone cops. Also I NEVER wear any of my gear anymore. Its like its just over. There is a lot of talent on the team but no one seems to ever be able to shape it into a consistently competitive team. Twilight zone crap.
  3. Ron was very perturbed during his post game interview. I would expect a better showing the last 2 games. But who cares really? Why should it take that to motivate this team? I do think Del Rios schemes are antiquated and most good coaches can look back to see what he's done in the past. But it certainly is the entire team. No one unit covers the other one very well.
  4. We were out matched, out played in every aspect. We were also **** on by the officials. That didn't help either.
  5. Its something I've noticed from the beginning sadly. Gibsons a good athlete but not a great RB. Put him next to J. Taylor and he'll look like a high school player. He gets tackled waaay to easily on most plays and runs into bodies instead of allowing blocks to develop. And his quick cut ability is below average. I still see him as a decent "piece" but we need a true RB. This teams glory years were all carried by a dominant RB.
  6. Hurts looked pretty damn good to me. Would take him in a heart beat. Heineke's ability to run , although not as dangerous as Hurts, gives our team a similar threat.
  7. Overall great win. Very methodical. But I'm thinking someone needs to practice some chip shot field goals. The game would have been looong over if we kicked one in on that last drive.
  8. Point taken, I did ignore that fact but completely agree the wrong play was called.
  9. Sooo, you are agreeing with the fact that making an effort on a jump ball should be automatic for a "professional" football player and not something after playing football their entire lives that they should have to be coached to do at this level? I thought so.
  10. Well said. I've just reached the point of watching this team with the lowest of expectations and it doesn't get any more pathetic than that. Even games that look promising for them seem to always end badly. I've been doing it for so long its simply a habit and maybe I'm just perpetually stuck in neutral waiting for the big turn around.
  11. Too many things are broken on defense from coaching to player discipline and execution to be successful. And yes, Heineke is not the answer, a decent fill in guy with moxy yes but not long term. However he has been burdened with the task of comeback kid since his first live snaps with this team with little help. When he runs, things happen but why aren't guys getting open? or is he waiting too long to chuck it? As good as Josh Allen is at throwing the ball he ran A LOT against KC with no hesitation. That opened up several HUGE passing plays. And that is a recipe WFT should look at more if they want to win any more games with TH. Instead of this " teach him to be a pocket passer" thing. He's not a Brady or Manning. This loss was horrid in many ways. The officials tried handing the game to us.
  12. Agreed. Jumping for a hail mary knock down should be and IS a common sense play on the players shoulders, not the coach. Waiting for another team mate to take the initiative on a jump ball s not a coached technique.
  13. Hopkins has big day but not enough as offense keeps turning ball over. Defense still a mess. Atlanta 31 nonames 19
  14. They've given up 92 points in 3 games and the falcons will only score 13? You a funny cookie. I agree. And this is the loss that will define the season as the gauntlet of games after that looks bad, real bad.
  15. Payne and Allen have won their battles and are playing well but the DE's and LB's are not.
  16. Yup so we're left with a rookie and holcomb who everybody knew was very average at best. Bostic although pretty good may be the best of them and thats scary.
  17. what ever is going on, they had better get more out of passing attack. AP won't rush for 90 something every week. So far the D has to get props for keeping games close.
