on gameday what's more likely? That we dress seven WRs, or 4 TEs? Cause looking at that roster for the five guys we need to make inactive I'm thinking it's mostly obvious unless there's injuries: Allen, Larsen, Toney and either Roberts or Mctyer, but not both. That leaves WR and TE with the likely guys sitting being Reyes, Milne or Seals-Jones

I mean, it's the 60 best players in the NFL. It's not a redraft the league thread. One of the guys above him is obviously going to be Tom Brady. Would anyone take a QB in his 40s who's going to play another year or two over an early 20s DE? Obviously not. That doesn't mean that Young is better than Brady though

I think Allen does go on IR to start the season with them using roster trickery to keep him on cutdown day, I think the smartest way to do that would be to initially keep 8 OL and cut both Larson and Ismael. I mean seriously, Schweizer's going to be our primary backup at center, even if he hold onto the starting LG job. Who would you rather sub in long term? Tyler Larsen, Keith Ismael, Ereck Flowers or Saadhiq Charles?

the trick is they're keeping the COVID rules this year. That means 16 people on the PS including some with unlimited NFL experience. We could keep a couple of them on th practice squad, deactivate Reyes on game day and activate them for at least a couple weeks

that depends on what kind of fan you are. Me, for example, I try to be rational all the time. If I think the team is middle of the road and should be 7-9 to 9=7 I say it and am only really disappointed if they're significantly worse. If we're bad enough that we're in a situation where we should be 2-14 I'm more pissed the roster got bad enough for that to happen than that we're losing games

they're in their second and third years, there's no way to renegotiate their contracts and there's been no changes on the D to upset them. Maybe they're just playing it safe with their health

well, the nice thing about the current rules we could keep him on the roster and leave him inactive and just have some tight ends on the PS and activate them for games
