Who else is there for GGG to fight though? I think its polar opposite situations personally. I don't blame GGG for taking the big pay day and increase in exposure that this fight will bring him. All he can do is wait for one of Jacobs, Saunders or Canelo to finally grow the balls to fight him.

Hodgson is **** yeah but its just a never ending thing now isn't it? Players just either bottle it or don't care enough to do well. Problem is an awful lot deeper than Hodgson, Rooney etc.

Bit gutted but very proud. We were well in that game against one of the best teams in the world. Duffy poor for the 2nd goal and it should have been dealt with comfortably tbh. We were simply out on our feet for the best part of the last half hour though unfortunately. Fair play to the French.

Delighted for Wales. Good example of a team playing to the peak of their powers. Never rated Coleman as a manager but he's doing a great job there.

No affiliation with us southern folk whatsoever. Just to be clear, if you see someone spilling drink or throwing beer bottles you can be pretty sure they are not really Irish!

England's best midfielder imo. Should be a no brainer to start him. He's clearly fit again.

Yeah those last 10 minutes were made for Vardy off the bench hitting them on the counter attack. Roy's negativity will hold this team back.

Great free kick aside, Dier has been fantastic in this game. Type of player England have been crying out for for years.

A team set up with the sole focus of finding a way to fit Rooney in if I've ever seen one. Should never get into that team going off current form.

Wouldn't say royally screwed. We've every chance of beating an average Sweden side on Monday, Italy have their worst side in years and Belgium have proved nothing yet. Its not as bad a group as it looks on paper and one win may well be enough to go through as a best third placed team.

Barton prob just want to stroke his massive ego. He'll comfortably be one of the best players in the Scottish Prem whereas he's proven he can't cut it in the top tier in England anymore. He was brilliant for Burnley last year so going to Scotland which (imo) is League 1 level at best should have him standing out. Barton v Scott Brown should make good viewing next year though all the same.

Need your best players to perform in games like this and Firmino and Coutinho seemed to be hiding out there. Pretty amazing achievement by Sevilla tbf. No doubt La Liga is the best league in the world at the present moment. Maybe not in depth but at the top for sure.

Quite literally a game of two halves.. Liverpool in need of a new back 4 next year for sure.
