    I'd say don't rely on him and find another option for WR2 if he stays healthy it's a bonus.

    Terry broke 1000 yards and Hump had 383. All other receivers had under 300 for the year. McKissic was the second leading receiver with 397 before his injury. I don't completely blame receivers as the QB needs to get it to them. It does open up the question were they open and just not getting the ball or couldn't they get open? I'd be open to another option at receiver to complement Terry. Samuel obviously didn't play much this season and imo shouldn't be relied on heavily going into next.

    Watson pushed for a trade before all the allegations came out. Don't think he has changed his mind.

    Agreed too many variables including the dropoff in talent from Scherff to his backup. It could be argued we would lose those games even if he played.

    The fact our record when he's out of the lineup is awful kind of argues against your point. I know there's many other factors but it's kind of eye opening. They are 3-21 without him in the lineup. However I agree 18m is too much. He wants overpaid. I think we'd all like to see him back since he is a very good player when healthy, but it needs to be on a fair deal for the team.

    Problem is we will more than likely be picking up FA so it won't come to fruition

    It would be interesting if Scherff got his offers and came back to the table with the Team, however I feel like someone is going to overpay him and he will leave.

    Offer Scherff the same contract Wyatt Teller got from the browns 4 years $56.8mil w 29 guaranteed. That will show whether he does actually want to be here or is just saying it.

    It's weird there are two teams with higher strength of schedule than us.... The Giants and the Chiefs. I get that we need to be punished for sneaking into the playoffs last year with a losing record but head to head should matter before SOS imo.

    Speculation on how the draft class will pan out is a crap shoot. I'd prefer not to give up any capital to get a QB but it has to be a QB with that pick.

    I don't agree, QB needs outweigh everything else this off-season. The possibility of moving up a few picks to get your guy does exist as well.
