Why is Brady still out there?

I don't know about the Bucs, but apparently the Eagles thought they had a chance to come back, even with less than 5 minutes left to play.

They're doing all the mathematical equations to determine that a 2 point conversion, and an onside kick, (and much, much more) will pile up enough scores to tie up the score in the last 4 minutes, Lol

Well, good for them for trying

  2. Having a 7th team in the playoffs isn't the only problem.

This is a combination of 2 factors.

First, the incredible parity they have successfully and progressively created in the league over the years and up until now.

There's just a few elite teams, and then there's....everyone else. A bunch of 'meh' teams who could realistically beat any of the other non-elite teams, or each other, any day of the week.

Then the seeding means you have an elite team going against a team that doesn't really deserve to be in the playoffs.

I don’t think Pederson on this team makes that much of a difference. Maybe a bit.

Pederson didn't seem to be a fan of Hurts, as we saw in his last game, which was against us.

So, maybe he resorts to Minshew sooner, and we see different results, just as you all are saying he should be in the game already now.

What was it with Sweat?  Some thought it was a ruptured appendix, but that was denied.

They seem tight-lipped about it, and probably want to keep it personal, I'm guessing.

So anything we hear is probably just speculation.

Sad that both their DE Sweat, and ours, are going through such a tough time, facing death or near death, either for themselves or a loved one.

This game shows why adding the 7th playoff team was a bad idea.  The Eagles don't belong in the playoffs, and the Bucs deserved a first round bye.

Ha, just wait'll KC plays Pittsburgh

They put this rule in 25 years ago to stop taunting.  And actually, at the time it was known as the Emmit Smith rule because he was constantly ripping off his helmet to celebrate.

I don’t care either way. But its a stupid penalty to take.  Just keep your goddamn helmet on until you get to the sidelines.

Yea, I remember. It goes back a long way. The Michael Westhbrook helmet-gate goes down in history.

But there's levels of taunting, IMO.

And IMO, taking your helmet off is the very lowest level of taunting. And should be penalized accordingly, as far as yards.

It's open to interpretation, and could even be interpreted as something other than taunting.

I mean, for example, let's say you take your helmet off, and the nearest opposing player is 30 yards away - is that really taunting ?

Hurts is horrendous. Philly should be packaging their three #1s for a veteran star QB.

He is, when you can contain him.

Tampa has done a good job of containing him.

And I still don't understand why taking your helmet off is considered such a flagrant, egregious foul.

    A oenalty is fine.

    But 15 yards ?

Making a helmet removal the same exact penalty as bashing a QB's brain into the ground ?

RG3 and Andrew Luck, back together again...wild to think that neither of these guys are in the NFL anymore (for wildly opposite reasons, of course).

The other night, the halftime show of an NFL game was reviewing the college football scene, and 2/3 of the analysts were former Redskin #1 Picks and Busts (arguably) : Desmond Howard and RG3.

It's like the media is still trying to troll us.

As for your statement of "opposite reasons", I think that could be argued that they each began their downslide due to injuries.

  8. On a 2002 Saturn SL1, the engine light went on, and using a DIY handheld diagnostic tool, it refers to the o2 Sensor and a slow response bank.

It seems like this happens to every car I own.

But I was curious if someone can tell me if it's easy to replace on this particular make and model.

And whether it's something that should be a high priority and urgent replacement, if the car is about to go on a long trip.
