Any GM can pick great players,
Gotta give some credit, because both Sweat and Allen were somewhat gambles, due to "perceived" health concerns of theirs at the time. And other teams apparently passed on them because of that.

The funny thing is with Heinicke at the beginning of last year the bet was whether he could last a single game without getting injured. Then of course the goal posts moved tremendously.
Yep. Three years in a row, this "perceived non-durable" QB has replaced an injured starter : Smith in '20. Fitz in '21. Wentz in '22.
And in the meantime, hasn't missed a single game due to injury, with the exception, I think, of a CV positive last year.

Highly ironic thought.
By far, undoubtedly our greatest strength on the team right now, was entirely built by Bruce Allen.
Montez Sweat, Daron Payne, and Jonathan Allen, were all Bruce Allen picks.

Is Tucker the GOAT Kicker.
I mea, I hope he doesn't kick goats.
But he's probably the GOAT Kicker.
And if push came to shove...and kick...he could probably kick a goat 50 yards through the uprights.
Though I would not condone that

Robinson is eligible to return in Week 5 when the Commanders host the Titans. Could he be on track to return by then?
Head coach Ron Rivera was asked if Robinson was on track to return.
“Yeah,” he answered. “In all honesty, in our hopes without giving you guys a timeline, yes. I mean, we’re liking what we see each time we ramp something up. He’s had no ill effects so far. I know Dr. [James] Andrews will be there. He’s gonna take a look at our guys that we had on that we’ve had on PUP and that we have on injured reserve and get an opportunity to really look at them. Hopefully, we get nothing but good news on everybody.”
So Dr Andrews is still around ?
He's been one of the few mainstays of this organization, for quite some time

Obviously if you analyze history, our demise can be traced back exactly to the demotion of Apke.
Apke was starting at safety in 2020. That was the last time this team was any good.
Then after the 2020 season he was demoted. First, as a backup. Then to the PS.
Ever since the date of Apke's demotion, it parallels perfectly with our downward slide.
Can't be a coincidence.
We don't need a firing. We need a promotion. Bring back the Trap !

I read an article that we will soon make our mascot official.
I think I can figure it out, since I know Ron.
Starting with our nickname, which only makes sense that we're the Ders.
And the Panthers have Sir Purr.
So in Carolina Tradition, our mascot will be Sir Der
Go Ders !

We were all so bummed when when Mathis went down, he was another player for us with a ton of heart
What's your take on Mathis' NFL potential ? Solid starter ?
People have talked about him replacing Payne possibly, after letting Payne depart, but that seems like a clear downgrade
Although this Ridgeway guy is interesting, and makes me wonder if he and Mathis might end up competing.

We recently signed Potoa'e
I wonder if he's any relation to the member here, 'baked tater'

That’s a close game? LolHe said "closer than most people think", not "close game".
Apparently a lot of people think it will be a blowout of huge proportions. And Philly certainly has a history of doing that to us

How about Chad Powers ?
This walk-on QB at Penn State is creating a lot of buzz, all of a sudden

I have used these type of streaming sites before, but for the life of me I can't exit out of the adds to find the stream. Just tried 25 times is there a secret to this one.
I feel ya.
Part of it, is having the right ad-blocker.
And part of it, is knowing which "X" to close the ad, because there seems to be some fake "X's" on some of them, that just lead to more ads, so it's just a matter of experience, and trial & error
Fortunately I've avoided any viruses, throughout those trials and errors

Sean Taylor's little brother makes his 2022 Junior year debut today for Rice, against USC, who are favored by 32.5 points.
Maybe his signature ball-hawking skills can cut into that offense's advantage, and grab some INT's and maybe a Pick 6.

Technically it’s an initialism. An acronym you read out the word like NASA or AIDS. When you sound out the letters it’s an initialism like FBI or CIA.
On 8/31/2022 at 2:23 PM, KDawg said:The fact he used an acronym should tell you it means Health Care Professional. Those folks speak in acronym algorithms 24/7
But what if you read out CIA like a word instead of initials, and say it like "Seeya".
Does it then become an acronym, as opposed to initialism ?
