Yeah I could definitely see it being more Bieniemy's choice for the 1 year contracts. He's been trying each year for a HC position and unfortunately never got picked up. So Reid was probably yeah, go interview and if not, we will re-sign you and try again. Also tough because I believe a decent amount of HC vacancies get filled up before super bowl and chiefs make the championship game or SB the past several years (I could be wrong on when vacancies were filled, just a thought). But now coming to Washington, he gets the Assistant HC title as well, not under Reid and if the offense lights it up, he looks even better. New owner comes in and still clears house, Bieniemy still looks good since the new Owner wanted his own build, or new owner thought Bieniemy did great and locks him down since he'd most likely be a top target. Granted it all could be a complete wash and he's not as great as we hoped but it's almost as though this upcoming season may be a wash anyways if get new ownership, so why not?

Haha Honestly I am excited to see how the offense can shape up with someone like Bieniemy calling the shots, especially with our receiving corp. Now grab some OL help as well. Of course the cherry on top is bye bye Dan, but some good news for the start of the offseason.

Thanks again @Skinsinparadise for keeping us posted on various sources, sometimes can be a bit crazy with whose reporting what and who is actually more reliable. Like you've mentioned previously, I always liked Sheehan and feel as though he doesn't really discuss things he doesn't know and if he's ever just being hypothetical he's usually pretty good at stating something like "This is just me talking...etc.". I haven't listened to him in awhile but did always enjoy his podcast.

A good way to end the season. Howell looked pretty good for his 1st start. Defense still strong, should be a fun and entertaining offseason. Hopefully more news on the sale to come soon, Turner is gone and we watch Dallas lose to TB next weekend!
