For someone who needs evidence that there is a God, and says theres only the Bible that tells us about Him is not truly looking. Miracles were done not for those who believe, but those who didnt/dont because if we face it....most are " if i dont see it i dont believe it." Theres miracles all over that you may not know, hear about or see. Theres prophets that have prophesied and came to pass thar you may not know, hear, or see. The Word says ask and you shall be given, knock and you shall find. If you seek Him. You will find. Theres also a difference in between God's plan vs mans will. Yet when we see death, its referred to Gods plan and tends to refute our own will in the process. God, all knowing, omnipresent, knows everything about us and every choice we make has its own repercussion. God KNOWS these repercussions, but He allows us TO choose. Everything is a choice. Deciding not to choose is a choice. There is a difference between what God wants versus what He allows. If somebody was to eat fast food every single day three times and suffer a heart attack and dies....is that what God wanted? Absolutely not...that was the repercussion of his or her choice. WE KNOW that its bad. The Bible also mentions that we were born into sin amd shaped by iniquity. So when you see kids with cancer...think about this world we live in. And what we are surrounded by. Yes, the intention and the beginning was good in the sight of the Lord...but you see wherr its at by mans actions. Look at global warming...mans actions. Etc. Etc.

Im not too thrilled by the pick honestly. I see a great combine in the 40, but doesnt have great ankle flexion to bend the edge, decent pass rush arsenal. His biggest impact i see will be in the run game sideline to sideline. Or qb scrambles.

So are you insinuating that role players in ths draft is whats gonna push this team to the finals? Or hope a light bulb comes on and they develop to all star level? Waiting for players to develop is a waste of John's prime and if we are gonna go that route we need to simply start over. If not, get the BEST players available and dont hesitate to put the BEST team possible. Also, im implying that Kawhi may possibly mail it in if any team trades for him to preserve his health.

Id argue that we made the playoffs, what? Last 4/5 years? I mean consistent regular season winner absolutely means jack. The team will make the playoffs this year. And next year. But what good does it do if youre not willing to sacrifice a key player for a great player to try and get over the hump. Im confident that we can agree that individual players impact the team over mediocrr team basketball. Case in point- lebron on cavs. Greek freak on bucks. But you got to build around that with more than role players. Id trade otto in a heart beat for a willing kawhi that will.play his heart out and not play reserve. That would better the team. And thr whole rental of kawhi changing the dynamic is based on him actually playing 100% and not preserving himself for LA.

I never said he was soft or weak. But to deny the fact he didnt want a cupcake ride to the finals is foolishness. I mean you dont join a 73 win team and say its not the easy way out.
