  1. And it’s probably a cop out but I need to see the remaining games before making a decision on who I want playing QB next year.

I had REALLY low expectations for Sam coming into this year and he’s crushed those. I genuinely think he can eventually be in that Kirk Cousins/Derek Carr/Jared Goff/Matt Stafford tier. Right below the elite guys. That’s extremely valuable especially the next 2 seasons.

Only way I’d want another QB next year is if they had a legit chance at a guy either already elite or that they believe will eventually be elite. So I’ll leave it up to the football guys they bring in. But if they can’t find a unicorn (and they likely won’t) then hell yeah, let’s roll with Sam and improve this team in important meaningful ways and compete next year. He can definitely win a division. I’m not looking to rebuild as much as retool.

That wasn't intentional one handed.  DBs pin one hand to the body as a receiver is attempting to catch the ball.

Idk man. I’m tired of the excuses for the one unit that got ridiculous hype coming into the season. The WR play has been seriously underwhelming this year. Make a damn play for once. To give credit to Dotson, he’s played better

Other than Terry on occasion our WRs cant ever make THAT play. Dyami had a ball go thru his hands. Dotson tried some one hand nonsense. Even Terry had a ball in his hands that a DB knocked loose(more a good play by the DB but still, itd be nice to make that play).

You can make a legit argument that Howell is the best player on this offense, and by virtue the whole team. Insane.

I’d say Terry but he’s for sure 2nd on offense and definitely top 5 on the team.

  4. I expected Sam to struggle bc he was facing Belicheck and he hasn’t really played well in consecutive weeks. The insane INT aside, he kicked ass. I really enjoy watching him simply throw the football. It’s so smooth at times. And i don’t know what the hell it is but the sack problem is basically gone? Or at least we know he/they are capable of adjusting and not being historically terrible ? Either way, very encouraging.

Not to mention if our sorry ass WRs could make a damn play once in awhile, his numbers would have looked incredible. WR is a need this offseason for me. Someone said it here earlier but plz get Tee Higgins this offseason.

I’m also just not impressed with Bieniemy. I’m sure he has a good amount of responsibility for Sam looking good but also feel like he could do more for Sam at the same time. 4th quarter offense was horrendous.

In hockey, there are deadline rental deals and then there are "hockey trades".

Trading McLaurin for Tee Higgins to get younger at the position would be a "football trade".

I don't think it's a crazy idea, even if you're not in favor.

Uh why would you trade for Higgins to replace Terry when he’s going to demand a huge deal?? You’d then have a lesser (but still good WR) on similar money.

If you’re going to try to get younger, you draft a new WR1.

You keep Terry tho. He’s a damn good WR and whoever the QB of the future is, they’ll need a damn good WR. We should be thinking about getting another truly good WR to pair with him. Why can’t we just sign Tee Higgins or hell, Justin Jefferson might be ready to get the hell out of Minnesota. We have plenty of picks and cap space. Let’s build a truly elite unit built on meaningful position resource allocation.

That's a scheme problem as much as a talent issue. JDR shouldn't have a job after depreciating the value of our assets to the point where we're trading in two firsts for a second and a very low third.

Hopefully meaningful positive changes are coming.

I only ever hear about scheme and players on the DL here.

Never hear that **** when talking about actual dominant players.

Let me know more about Maxx Crosby and the Raiders’ vaunted scheme.

For those distraught to see Chase go, I’m curious if you really wanted to franchise him or pay him a top of market contract in the offseason.  My next question would be what has he done to earn that contract?

None of them have even thought about it that hard. They’re just mad bc he’s on ticket ads and they might have been dumb enough to buy his jersey

If anyone happy we let CY got for a third and feel happy about it I’m just completely stunned anyone would think it was a good move . This is going to be the second time SF fleeced us , but yes letting CY go was a good move . We got some posters in here saying he was a diva and work efforts was a problem

lol get real we got fleeced

    He literally does nothing here.

Go ahead and give him $20M so he can do more cute commercials I guess with little production

It’s truly fascinating to see how much people overreact to things like this on a bad team who hasn’t done anything in years.

Many of those folks are the same ones who wanted us to be more of a modern front office.

It’s going to be okay. Probably better than it used to be.

….i feel like we won’t even notice a difference during games
