  1. i almost spit out my drink when i just saw this commercial...
  2. the Vow. told my gf id watch one of her movies if she watch one that i wanted to see. (the grey) suprisingly, i liked the Vow more than the Grey. im looking forward to seeing Prometheus.. the trailer looks sick in the movie theater.
  3. got a key made at walmart last night.. was skeptical but it started on the first try. youre right the new key is about 2 millimeters larger in length than the old one. thanks, $1.98 is much better than $650.00
  4. i have tried moving the steering wheel while fidgeting the key. i can get it to go backward occasionally, but cant get it to go all the way forward anymore. i was about to try the wd-40. and i figured that it's worth getting a new key cut to at least see if that works, though i doubt it, since the new cut will be based on the old worn key. fyi, i bought it at King of Cars in Pasadena.
  5. i have an 03 chevy cavalier (automatic), and i cant turn the key. the car is in park, i have tried moving the steering wheel, and tapping the key into the column (to loosen tumblers) with a mallet. this problem was first noticed as i was attempting to start the car and drive it out of the used car dealership (go figure). it took me about 5 minutes to get the key (which looks very worn) to turn, and i figured it was just a little touchy and i needed to get used to it. ive been trying to get the key to turn for a couple hours now, to no avail. all signs are pointing to a replacement of the locking mechanism, which is pretty pricey.. suggestions?
  6. the first and only time ive had this beer was in italy 6 years ago... i liked it so much that i bought the glass in the pic. well i found it at a local store and am going to enjoy it on christmas eve..
  7. during my indoctrination, the drill instructor said that we would all be getting Dear John letters and that he didnt want to see us crying about it. My roommate (John) was completely confused as to why he would be writing letters. lol
  8. i was hoping to see something like that. and the 49ers go up 7 on dallas. its a good day so far.
  9. im not sure why, but this is usually the case. ---------- Post added September-18th-2011 at 01:09 PM ---------- is the plug in clean?
  10. i saw a stat during the jets-cowboys masterpiece. cowboys were 246-0-1 when leading by 14 points 4th quarter. they are now 246-1-1.. awesome.
  11. just got some pyramid brewery beers, never had them before. the box contains thunderhead ipa, a spring ipa, an apricot ale, and hefeweizen. the thunderhead ipa has a very bold and hoppy flavor. the rest ive still yet to try. also stroker, what kind of beer do you recommend for spicy food. i love spicy food, but i havent found a good pairing between the two yet. ok, just tried the spring IPA. you can tell it comes from the same company as the thunderhead IPA. its just a little less bold, though it has a lot of bite, and has a sweeter taste. i like it more than the thunderhead IPA.
  12. maybe... it depends. your best bet is to play the audio on espn 980 in addition to the video link as the video feeds often cut out or gets choppy. lots of them get closed by halftime. i usually flop between 2 or 3 feeds throughout the game. gotta do whatcha gotta do.
  13. i had the arrogant **** when i was like 18 though. it might have been too strong for me to enjoy back then. i was gonna try it again a few days ago but the 3 people i was with all said they didnt like it either, so i went with the IPA. i dont know if the kind at the local pub is the oaked version though, im guessing no. i had a full sail pale ale and it was pretty tasty.
  14. def. a fan of the shiner redbird... the grapefruit flavor is nice. ---------- Post added July-30th-2011 at 05:22 PM ---------- not a fan of arrogant ****. i prefer the stone Ipa
  15. i heard man united and barcelona play somewhat soon in the DC area. can anyone verify this and is anyone going to go. i think that would be a great first soccer match to attend.
  16. st. arnolds is a houston based brewery. they put out some pretty good stuff tonight i had their latest divine reserve batch. man was it good. hoppy with a hint of citrus. even the foam was good.
  17. i had that one recently and it was good; i dont know much about porters though.
  18. had a Hop Henge IPA last weekend. it was so good. the color, smell, taste, high alc content. man it was just awesome all around. http://www.deschutesbrewery.com/brews/bond-street-series/hop-henge/default.aspx
  19. some hot stove stuff... 1. cliff lee: I am so glad that someone finally told the yankees to go **** themselves 2. the phillies rotation: halliday, cliff lee, oswalt, hamels.... this has got to be the best starting rotation ever. halliday has been my favorite pitcher for a decade, cliff lee contends for the cy every year. i think oswalt has been bothered by the world baseball classic lately, but i think he might be the second best pitcher on that team by years end. hamels has been hurt, but is healthy now, watch out. im not sure who will man the 5th spot, maybe a rookie? if they strengthen up their bullpen, this will be the best team that ever played. mark it down. 3. the orioles: as an orioles fan, we are screwed. all of the phillies pitchers are better than our best pitcher (guthrie). the disparity in talent between teams in the mlb is moreso than any other sport. look at the yankees, redsox, and phillies. they buy the top free agents every year. the orioles get nothing. in fact, free agents stay away from baltimore just because we are so bad. the only way we will be successful is if the younger guys like weiters, reimold, pie, tillman, and matusz start playing to their potential. even then it most likely wont be enough. with a couple over .500 seasons in a row, we might be able to lure a top free agent. 4. adrian gonzalez: my current mvp favorite. barring significant injury, you will see a considerable improvement in homeruns, rbi's, and runs since he is now hitting in fenway. though he is a lefty, he hits opposite field with power also, i wouldnt be suprised if he hit a few over the green monster. i have watched him closely for years, he is a beast. the orioles would be able to compete if they had snagged him (which we all knew wasnt going to happen). 5. jose bautista: he was awesome last year, will he be able to do it again? i think his homerun totals will drop a bit, but the power is legit. he has a really good batters eye, he wasnt just hitting a lot of homeruns, he was smashing the ball most of the time. it will be interesting to see how he does this year. 6. strasburg: he has some really good stuff. if he can learn how to deceive pitchers and have them on their toes, he will be awesome this year. he needs to avoid injury though. 7. the rangers: since ive been in texas ive been watching this team. andrus, kinsler, hamilton, vladdy, and neli cruz are the heart of an awesome lineup. it will be tough to beat this team even if their pitching isnt great. the loss of cliff lee is huge, and pitching wins the big games. without lee, i doubt they will make it far in the playoffs, they should have just signed him to a multiyear contract. make they can get greinke? i think they might try neftali feliz at a starting spot. i dont think they should, he was so good last year in closing duties, i would leave him there if he wants that spot.
  20. **** you ravens fans.. my team screws up like this weekly
  21. i feel your pain. i cant find any working links this week. so lame.
