I also think the idea that a QB whose game is mostly cerebral can’t control himself when under pressure and is just destined to always run. That it’s impossible to fix. You can literally see him think through everything he sees but he’s too dumb or too instinctual stop running to prolong his career. Come on lol

Right I agree with most of that. Where we don’t doesn’t matter. My point is that it’s not unthinkable that people are siding with his upside and with the understanding that there is no indication he CANT do these thing. You have to do that thing y’all do with Drake Maye and his mechanics….assume it’s something that can be fixed. I know I know. You don’t think it’s fixable. I do. It’s not that confusing lol. The whole “I don’t know WHY people are ignoring this!” thing is overdone on your part. We get he has flaws. Truly. We get it. I’m not sure of anything anymore honestly.

I think the problem with your argument is that you assume the tendency to not throw over the middle is a problem of his. What you have, statistically, is that he doesn’t throw over the middle much. You go on to argue that this is something VITAL for all NFL offenses to be successful. Your numbers do not prove that he is bad at it or that he avoids throwing it there. Those leaps in conclusion are why you are baffled that people are not agreeing with you. If we knew those things were true I think most people would agree. I made the point tacitly, but why would he throw over the middle? IF YOU WATCH HIM PLAY…..it’s not that he is avoiding them. It’s that he has better plays elsewhere on the field. He’s throwing to his two HOF WRs on the outside. Why wouldn’t he? That’s the more reasonable and most likely answer. But you jump to he is tentative. That is not proven and it’s why people ignore it. At BEST it’s a question. Watching him play answers it. They even run the progressions from inside out. Which is backwards but they do it to get the ball outside to his HOF WRs because that is their best matchup. It’s the correct play (like his running but we won’t go there) Past that, I’m not so sure how vital it is anyway. I would like to see numbers on that if you have them. Not arguing that point, I would just like to see them.

No no. Wrong. Impossible. Jayden with less open receivers than Maye? Defies all logic. Not with those receivers and oline that makes no sense. Its almost like someone has been telling you that his pressures and sacks could be related to the defensive coverages and blitz packages he was throwing into which where much more complex in the SEC than whatever the **** junior varsity UNC finds themselves in. Fake. For fun though.... The (Front) Office would be an excellent show.

I wonder what we would do with the knowledge. There for sure would be a section of us that would take his advice and thoughts to heart and adjust. And there is just as assuredly going to be those who disagree with him and stay fast in whatever it is they already believe. And more still, there will be people who disagree with him just to be contrary. Actually, we would be the same ****ing board with or without his input. Probably more extreme. Smh thats depressing lolol the stats ARE the lies!!!

I don't understand what the difference between scramble and escape is. Also people do care. Its concerning. It doesnt seem to be making him undraftable and its not diminishing his other traits. And this is all 5 years. He clearly had a better year this past season, which is not only recent, but showing progress. Its not obtuse to think he can continue to make progress. Its a bet I probably wouldn't take lol. But its not crazy. Taking a change on a supremely talented player with experience and proven ability to improve his flaws is not that crazy, honestly.
