  1. None of this is new. If people don’t want to like a guy they are going to read into whatever they have to to justify that feeling. And then be loud about it. Hard to argue that isn’t human nature. Daniels is not the first guy this has happened to and he won’t be the last. He will have to deal with it.
  2. I know we have previously called these guys idiots but they also like Maye ALOT. Making all the comparisons y’all have made (which makes the idiot thing kinda funny) about John Allen. They like him better at reading defenses pre snap too, it sounds. They never say it but it sounds like they are a step away. They like everything we like about him. And they don’t call him a project.
  3. The kid himself has said and done literally nothing that’s the funny part. People are gonna hate him because of a bunch of **** other people have said about him. Reading into EVERY word on Twitter has never worked for anything
  4. This is clearly damage control and I know you see the difference between this and other tweets I ain’t THAT dumb. Am I?
  5. I don’t think there is a good comp for him coming out. I don’t think we have ever seen an above average passer with great mechanics, great processing speed and great ball placement / timing AND elite running capability coming out of the draft like this. I also think it’s why his analytics are all over the place. He is almost a statistical and analytical anomaly with what he can do and the kind of trouble that gets him into. The obvious, again, is the P2S%. It does look real bad. Especially in 2022 where it was like ****ing 30% or something wild. A large part of it is because he takes off SO much. But he is taking off and getting 30 to 40 yards sometimes and sometimes he is getting -3. Reminds me of Brian Westbrook (right? Someone correct me. Eagles running back back in their day with Mcnibble). It’s gonna inflate his stats obviously. And typically that would be something to frown at yall have taught me that much. But in his case? With the plays he is making I don’t think it is. Speed and running always translates to the NFL. We don’t have to argue over this again btw I know your preferences here almost to the man - and I know I’m in the minority it’s ok lol. When I wanna fight I’ll make up more random bull****. Point is I don’t think there is a good comp. I think if he is successful the next comps for athletic QBs with speed and that can pass are going to be Jayden Daniels and not RG or Lamar. These kinds of guys are new, really. And he is better than they are at it coming out.
  6. I legit would be good with all 3, even McCarthy. We are in a glorious position. Usually you have at best one good QB and a bunch of projects to choose from. We have a new HC, a new GM and they will be able to choose from whoever they think is best for exactly what they want to do. And they have a variety of talent to choose from. I’m honestly stoked regardless. I just want to see what they come up with. The wait is killing me a little.
  7. In all honesty - being serious for a moment - if it really pissed off JD and his crew so much that they would torpedo him for real, then it was 100% worth it to have the little party. I can’t se how anyone could disagree with the results in that case.
  8. Yea we won’t know anything for sure for a while. All these guys get a grace period. This transition is not easy. That said….there is going to be no shortage of “I knew we picked the wrong guy” posts with the first negative play. Probably won’t wait that long. Let the ball hit the ground in training camp! Mannnnn
  9. He probably would have picked Drew Rosenhaus. I'm sure you remember how many scandals his guy has been involved in. Yet he is still doing his thing. I dont think the tweet is the kiss of death you think it is. Im sure publicity wasn't the intent of him liking the tweet. But once the fire was on them and they started making MORE of them? Its pretty clear to me that they like the attention yall are giving them.
  10. I thought that's what we have been doing the whole time in this thread?? Arguing against people with expertise is our thing why is it an issue now? I think its pretty obvious they have more name recognition today than they did yesterday.
  11. We dont have to argue over it. You know the agency now right? Did you know them last week? Its that simple Thats exactly what its like actually lol
  12. Explain the damage. Cause right now you have to be telling me that he is possibly going #2 over all and that his agents tweet messed that up. You really believe all of that?
  13. You know what else is a straightforward concept that happens ALL the time in media? All publicity is good publicity. You didnt even know these dudes existed yesterday. You know im right. It makes just as much sense as damage control over a ****ing emoji lol
  14. Yall are easily played. All they need is one new athlete or parent to see their names and remember them next time around and its worth it. Dude is going #2 or #3 overall most likely and now yall cant stop talking about his agency. Its free publicity and I guarantee not one team cares about this guys agent if they think he is that talented
  15. I mean yall dont see how the "FAKE NEWS" in the middle of this was 100% to get attention? They are all over ESPN and yall think it was cause he didnt know people would notice? Stop
  16. Oh wait so you clicked on the bois to get more info? Crazy! Its almost like a few word tweet got them crazy exposure! Wow! NO way that was the point lol
