  1. The idea that they would draft a guy who they harbor ill will and resentment towards #2 overall should tell you all you really need to know about that guys opinion. It’s ****ing stupid. They would never draft a guy they don’t like as the most important piece. Come on! Especially with the arguably more talented Maye right there. There is no reason to do it.
  2. Kyler problem is that he’s stupid and doesn’t study. None of the QBs in this draft are like that so I agree he will probably be fine with whoever.
  3. I think it’s fair to assume he has the capability to continue to improve and if you think your organization is in place to help him with that, then it’s worth rolling the dice on his potential. Same as Maye, really. I don’t know why y’all are so bent out of shape with the idea that he can still get better.
  4. It’s crazy cause you made almost all of that up and you probably really believe it I figured y’all lived for this stuff lol
  5. I mean he does ask the sidelines for some info. I don’t know what it is but you can clearly see him on some plays looking for help from the sideline. Not sure it’s a big deal but it is indeed a data point. The way he reads defenses I don’t doubt he has the capacity to do it all by himself with some more reps, though. Last season was his first season playing in the same offense from the previous year. Like Maye you have to wonder what he can do with more time.
  6. That’s the whole thing about him processing though. If he doesn’t know where the blitz is coming from and what coverage he is looking at then he is going to make mistakes. You don’t throw for 40/4 without being able to read the coverage. The teams he played against did a lot of post snap movement. Disgusting of looks. He did really well with that stuff. Yes a lot of it can be explained with simple “he had better WRs” but he had to read those coverages. It’s experience. It adds up. It’s why he was able to run far better this last season. He knew what looks to run into and what routs to run behind. He is a smart player. He was also on a very stacked team. Both can be true.
  7. The whole SEC defense thing is about the size and speed of the defenders AND the coverages they run. Less about individual talent and more about what the team is actually doing as a defense…..from my understanding. Who knows? I could be making it all up to confuse you since we are enemies now.
  8. The experience is a benefit not a detriment. It’s good he has so many snaps. It’s why he had a chance to fix his footwork before the NFL. He would have no future at all in the NFL if he couldn’t be an above average passer coming in. He would not last a season with his legs alone
  9. Even Dan Quinn is saying it’s his decision and that GMAP has be breaking down film for him. I wouldn’t worry about him folding to someone else with his very first pick ever as GM. Doesn’t seem like the type to fold like that.
  10. If Daniels was exactly the same as he is now but Mayes size he would probably be battling for 1st overall and not talking himself out of the top three. Same if Maye had his speed.
  11. They were colt fans specifically. He was a town hero for real and they loved him. Mariota as far as I know never had that kind of pull. Kinda glad he doesn’t lol
  12. How did you read that into me saying I don’t wanna see y’all ****ing about him for a few years? That’s all I’m saying. This is what I mean by saying y’all read what y’all want. I never blamed the results of anyone’s career on a message board. What kind of sense would that even make?
  13. In all fairness his agent and publicist haven’t really said anything either. Everything people are upset about is perceived and interpreted through multiple other people (that we have previously called idiots and paid to make noise) and we are taking it and running with it. I haven’t seen anything from Jayden Daniels that says he is a horrible fit. I know a lot of you want it to be so, so it is. But I personally have no seen it. I follow all that by saying I don’t want him drafted here because I know what y’all will do his entire career and a few month of it is fun, a few years is draining. I don’t care if he is more talented, he doesn’t fit this fan base for sure and that’s enough for me.
  14. I wanna defend Jay Gruden for a day just to **** with y’all but I think I have used up all my political capital on publicity stunt gate. I have made mistakes this week. 🙁
