  1. Yea I guess my overall point is whoever we pick will be on a rookie deal and we can load the squad with talent for 5 years and see what they become.
  2. You think the Mahomes they drafted is the same Mahomes that just won the Super Bowl? Of course not. He became a dude that can kill an NFL all by himself. Took a lot of work by him and his organization to get there. That’s the plan here they have said it.
  3. I particularly love the idea that we are going to draft a QB and not give him a quality oline and WRs that can get open. What are you guys even talking about lol
  4. I think so too and it makes sense when you realize he choose us....the worst spot in the league who could literally ONLY offer the #2 pick. He knew then who he wanted to start this thing with. Which is why i think its Maye. But we will see.
  5. I feel like there isn't though. There were plenty of QBs on the good side of that list that were just not good. I will have to look at them again. But the definition of "success" in that list I feel like I had a major problem with. Talking about the P2S% in particular. I will give it credit for being steady from one playing field to another, and thats not nothing. Not sure exactly what it is, though.
  6. What would them moving faster to decide on a the draft pick allow them to do anyway? Seriously - im assuming its more than just build an offense around them or something. Or is that it? There has to be something else im not thinking about.
  7. Cold hard data would be able to go backwards, and show us exactly who we were missing. They would be able to point out Wilson, Brady and everyone else with certainty....if there was certainty. They Cant. Because there isnt any such thing. The problem with some in the analytic crowd is they cannot admit this, and find a balance between numbers and the other factors. There needs to be a balance.
  8. Everyone in the NFL is bad at picking QBs but they are stupid if they don't agree with ME about this one. Hell of a hill!
  9. What argument? I was telling you what Dan Quinn said. I made no argument in that post.
  10. We should buy it. Copywrite it. And then prevent anyone else from using or benefiting from it.
  11. Talking to news cameras in no way reflects on general communication skills. Those press conferences are not how regular conversations work.
  12. I dont think it matters at all. He plays football good. If he does that great. If he doesn't he has to go. No ones career is made on the podium lol
  13. Brian Kelly says Daniels is the best leader he has ever had. Very much a leader by example. Take it for what its worth....I guess you would expect him to say that. But here he is saying it.
  14. That **** made me so mad. I remember one of the fans next to me making the craziest threats to the player who did it. Not like he could hear him. But crazy to the point where people around us where getting very uncomfortable. Wild ****.
  15. In Keims interview with Quinn they bring up analytics and specifically the P2S%. It’s just a small tidbit but the overall point is that they look at them (analytics in general) and then try to understand what happened. “Analytics in tap, not on top” is a direct quote of Quinn. Specifically about the P2S% he basically said it depends on what happened. He wasn’t super direct and didn’t say anything to end our argument, unfortunately. Did mention throw aways are good plays. Just throwing it up is not. Doesn’t like Hero Ball and that stuck out to me specifically cause all the prospects do it in one way or another. Funny to me it sounds like they are endeavoring to stay non biased until they know everything. Who the **** know this **** is stressful lol
  16. Listen as long as we agree then we don’t have any problems. (That’s a joke) I understand rooting for who you like. I generally choose to like whoever it is I have to root for with a few notable exceptions. I have accepted we won’t all agree and am just enjoying the drama at this point.
  17. I like him too and I think he can stay healthy if he works at being smarter. He has to pull a Mahomes and save his playmaking until the game in on the line or about to get out of hand. Thats it. He needs to have a mental on and off switch and thats up to how well he takes coaching. Everything we know says he takes coaching well, so who knows. But the dude is reckless as **** with his body, and thats not good at his size.
  18. No the MF got cooked. Repeatedly LOL. He did make an effort at the end of the season to slow it down but that was like half a season. Dude was looking to make plays and be safe second. I dont actually think thats coached out of him. He even sticks his head in there when he throws a pick. Like hes like one of those puppies that hes he is still 10 pounds but hes 120. But in reverse. He is a reverse puppy.
