I still remember 2012. Romney said Russia was still our enemy, and when Obama and the Dems laughed at this "Cold War thinking," the right went absolutely ape****. They knew in 2012 that Russia was still the big bad. Not sure what changed between 2012 and 2016 for Republicans to suddenly fall in love with Russia, other than the constant daydreaming about having an autocrat like Putin in charge of America instead of an elected weakling like Obama who basically kept letting them do whatever they way.

I think it's time for The Left to start a coordinated "It's bad to stick a fork in your eye you probably shouldn't do it" campaign just to see what happens.

Offensive and defensive penalties need to be far more equal. If any defensive penalty gives an automatic 1st, then the offensive equivalent should be a loss of down. Defensive holding on 3rd and 27 gives a 1st? Well now offensive holding on 3rd and 1 makes it 4th down. Defender tackling a receiver before the ball gets there to prevent a TD is an automatic 1st? Then a receiver tackling a defender to prevent an INT is a loss of down. I know the whole point of the league is to increase offensive stats and scoring, but outside of Intentional Grounding or penalties in the endzone, the penalties are way too blatantly favored toward one side of the ball.

I want you old timers to appreciate this simple fact: For those of us born in the 80s or later (at least the mid 80s or later), our "glory years" were 2005-2007. Under Gibbs 2.0 we went to the playoffs twice and won 1 playoff game. That's it. Outside of the 1999 season with that 1 playoff win in January of 2000, that's the glory years of this millennium. I was born in '85. I was 6 when they last won the SB. I can only remember 2 goddamn playoff wins. This team has 1 ****ing playoff win in the last 21 years. I know none of this is actual news. This is **** that's been talked about on here at length. But I am so ****ing pissed that every time this ****ing team, which I follow because of my mother and her (deceased) father, makes any kind of progress, it immediately just evaporates. Every minor success just immediately is invalidated in some way the following year. I HATE that "Kirk Cousins playing almost .500 ball for 3 years" is the best this pathetic franchise can do in almost 15 years. You want hate? Fine. I survived childhood cancer, and I consider Snyder a worse thing to have endured because at least the cancer ended.

Oh that's 1000% gonna happen now. Fitzmagic will drop this team from pick #3 to pick #11 by beating Philly once and NY. And beating NY means they'll pick ahead and get a franchise QB. It's just written in the stars, isn't it?

Too bad it's mostly Chiefs fans left, so there's nobody who will boo this team off the field.

AHAHAHAHAAH! "My Own Worst Enemy" playing over the PA is now my favorite part of this game.

Well the team did what they had to. They kept it a close, relatively entertaining game until halftime. The fans got a decent game and got to see the ceremony at halfime, then everybody got to leave and the team didn't have to try anymore. Let's call it a moral victory.
